- The IIM Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024 is the conclusive selection phase for MBA admissions 2024 at the newer and smaller IIMs, providing a unified framework for all participating IIMs.
- The roster of IIMs participating in the CAP may vary, with the potential to expand or contract. Currently, 10 IIMs partake in the IIM Common Admission Process.
- CAP 2024 streamlines the selection process for MBA admissions, offering a unified approach across all participating IIMs.
- The IIM CAP process typically includes a Personal Interview (PI) and a Writing Ability Test (WAT). However, in response to the post-COVID scenario, the current format has been adjusted to feature only the Personal Interview component.

- Access the official IIM CAP 2024 portal at cap2024.iimkashipurportal.org.
- Navigate to and select the "CAP 2024 IIM" option on the homepage.
- Initiate the registration by providing your personal information on the registration form, including your name, email ID, and contact details.

Seat Allocation
- Once the acceptance deadlines are over, the participating IIMs conduct a seat allocation process to fill the available seats in their respective management programs.
- You who have been admitted but have yet to confirm their acceptance within the deadline may forfeit their seats, which are then allocated to other deserving candidates.
Waitlist Movement
- Waitlisted people may receive admission offers if seats become available due to withdrawals or non-acceptance of offers by others.
- The waitlist movement typically continues until all available seats are filled or until the of the academic term.
