DU JAT Counselling 2021

If you have scored above the cut off, you will be shortlisted for DU JAT 2021 Counselling. The counselling will be conducted at the Delhi University campus on the basis of the weightage of parameters for admission to BMS/BBA/B.A. (Hons) in Business Economics courses. 

• Aspirants securing the highest rank in the cut off list are called for the first round of counselling.
• You can choose your choice of DU JAT Colleges at the time of the admission process.
• The exam conducting body will release the DU JAT admission list in the form of a PDF on the official website.

DU JAT Counselling Process 2021

There are a total of six steps involved in the Counselling  of DU JAT 2021 and those are as follows:

• Admission Form
• Verification
• Fee payment
• Choice of reallotment
• Seat allotment rounds
• Spot Counselling rounds

Admission Form

You need to select the college and the course of interest while filling the application form. You will be allotted colleges on the basis of rank and order of their preference after the declaration of DU JAT Result 2021.

• You must note that you are not allowed to change your seats after the allotment of their first preference of college and course.
• It is important for you to visit the admission portal dashboard to confirm their seats in a particular college.
• The admission form will get generated after the final selection.

Verification

After the allotment of the college, you have to report the college within a specified time period. Otherwise, your admission will get cancelled. You must carry the admission form and the following documents to the allotted college without fail.

• Printout of application form
• Three passport size photographs
• Original Class 10 and 12 certificates
• Photocopies of Class 10 and 12 certificates
• Caste certificate (if applicable)

Fee Payment

After the completion of the document verification process, you are required to pay the admission fee. The fee can be paid through online once the link will get activated on your portal.

• Make sure to pay the fee with the given time period.
• The allotted seat will get cancelled if you fail to make payment within the prescribed time period.

Choice of Re-allotment

After the completion of fee payment, you will be provided with two options and those are as follows:

• Option -1: Are they satisfied with the current allotment
• Option -2: I wish to be reallotted a seat higher in the preference order that is mentioned in the admission form.

Seat Allotment Rounds

The seat will be allotted to those who choose option 2. If seats are available, then they will be allotted the same and the earlier admission will be cancelled by the authorities. The admission will get approved after the completion of the payment.

You will not be allowed for the next round of the counselling process, if you

• have been allotted with your first preference of college and course.
• do not make payments for your admission in the allotted college.
• do not go for the document verification process within the specified time period.

Spot Counselling Rounds

For spot counselling round, time, venue, date, and the number of seats available will be displayed. Eligible applicants can select the college from the available options. You can pay the fee and attend the document verification process if you get your choice of college.

• If you fail to attend online counselling can opt for the spot counselling process.
• The university will announce more rounds of spot counselling if more seats are available.

DU JAT 2021 Counselling Guidelines

You are advised to read the guidelines provided below while attending the Counselling DU JAT 2021.

• Check the allotment list on the UG admission portal or from the candidates' login page.
• You can check the allotted college by logging into the website.
• Enter registered mail ID and password to login to the portal.
• Click on "Apply for Admission" for admission into the displayed course.
• The respective college will verify all the documents before approving the admission.
• Once you get approval from the college, make sure to pay the fee within the specified time.
• You can choose to upgrade as per their preference order or remain with the current allotment at the time of fee payment.
• You must carry all the original documents at the time of commencement of classes.

The following documents are required at the time of the DU JAT 2021 Counselling Procedure.

• DU JAT Admit card
• Class 10 certificate with the date of birth and parent's name
• Class 12 mark sheet
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/KM/CW certificate (if applicable)

DU JAT Seat Allotment 2021

A merit list is prepared based on teh scores obtained in the DU JAT 2021 Exam and the marks of class 12. There is a weightage of 65% for DU JAT Entrance exam and 35% weightage is given to class 12. A total of 1147 seats are available for all teh courses.
