The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially began the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2024 today, symbolizing the start of a significant academic journey for postgraduate students across the country. This important examination, which will be offered in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format at various centres in India and abroad until March 28, 2024, is required for admission to prominent universities' postgraduate courses. 

CUET PG 2024 Overview 

The CUET 2024 PG exam conducts in three independent shifts each day to ensure a thorough and adaptable testing environment. These sessions are deliberately timed to ensure an efficient testing process for the wide range of candidates. 

CUET PG Examination Schedule 

Shift Time Slot
1 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM
2 12:45 PM - 2:30 PM
3 4:30 PM - 6:15 PM

CUET PG Exam Center Guidelines 

Participants are expected to adhere to specific guidelines established by the NTA to facilitate a smooth and impartial examination process. 

Arrival and Admission 

  • Arrival Time: Candidates must arrive at the examination center 90 minutes before the scheduled start time. 
  • Seating Arrangement: Candidates should locate and occupy their allocated seats as per the instructions provided on their admit cards.

Conduct and Compliance 

  • Prohibited Items: Items not permitted inside the examination center include stationery, electronic gadgets, eatables, and any form of paper or notes.  
  • Admit Card and ID Verification: Candidates must present their admit card and a valid photo ID for verification upon entry.

During the Examination 

  • Seat Allocation: Candidates must sit in their designated seats, marked by their roll numbers. 
  • Question Paper Verification: Ensure the question paper displayed matches the subject selected on the admit card. 
  • Technical and Emergency Assistance: Candidates may seek assistance from the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator for technical issues or emergencies.
