What is CMAT?

• CMAT Exam is a national-level test conducted by NTA for enrolment into management programs in colleges affiliated with AICTE/participating colleges.
• The CMAT score is universally accepted by all AICTE-approved institutions, university departments, and affiliated colleges.
• CMAT 2024 will be a three-hour computer-based test covering quantitative techniques, data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
• The institutes participating in CMAT 2024 are the ones who will use the CMAT score for admission in session 2024-25 academic year.

CMAT Online Application Form Process Highlights

Step 1: Online Registration

-Apply for online registration using your own email ID and mobile number.

CMAT Application Form 2024 Dates

Online registration and submission of Application Form (complete in all respect) through NTA Website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/	29 March, 2024 to 18 April, 2024 (up to 09.50 PM)
Last date for successful transaction of Examination fee (through SBI and HDFC Bank Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI)	18 April,2024 (up to 11.50 PM)

Step 2: Fill in the CMAT Online Application Form

1. Fill in the online application form and make a note of the system-generated application number.
2. Upload scanned images of the following: 

• Recent photograph: The photograph should be in JPG/JPEG format with a file size between 10KB and 200 KB. It should show 80% of the face (without a mask) and include the ears against a white background.
• Candidate's signature: The signature should be in JPG/JPEG format with a file size between 4KB and 30 KB.
• PwD certificate (if applicable): The certificate should be in JPG/JPEG format with a file size between 50KB and 300 KB.

Step 3: CMAT Application Form Fee Payment 

- Pay the application fee using the SBI and HDFC Bank gateway through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

- Keep the proof of fee payment for future reference.

Note: The entire application process consists of these three steps. You can complete all the steps together or at separate times. Your application will be considered successful and your candidature confirmed only after a successful transaction and receipt of the prescribed application fee.

CMAT Exam Application Form - Registration Process Instructions:

1. All the candidates need to fill CMAT 2024 application form online only and can easily access the website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/     
2. Multiple application forms from the same candidate will not be considered at any cost.
3. Candidates should always download and thoroughly read the Information Bulletin to get familiar with their eligibility and formalities for filling out the online application.

CMAT Exam Application Form - Application Process Instructions:

1. The submission of the application will be confirmed as completed only after the transaction of the required application fee is verified and received.
2. Avoiding last-stage corrections can be easily accomplished only when serious care is taken while filling in details accurately during the application period.
3. All three steps of the application process, i.e. registration, form filling, and fee payment, can be completed simultaneously or at different periods.
4. The candidate is said to have duly filled out the application only upon the successful completion and receiving of the relevant fee for the application.

How to Fill CMAT Application Form - Step-by-step Guide

Part I: Registration Page

Step 1: Visit the official website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/

Step 2: Go to the login page and select "New Candidate Registration".

Step 3: Read the instructions carefully. Then click "Proceed".

Step 4: Fill in these basic details to obtain your obtain your application number. 

• Fill in your Identity Number. (To Generate OTP for registration.)
• Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name as per Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate in capital letters.
• Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyy as per Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate.
• Mobile Number and e-mail Address.
• Gender 
• Identity Type
• Candidate's Complete Correspondence Address
• Candidate's Permanent Address
• Alternate Mobile Number

Step 5: Set up a password and a security question.

Step 6: Review your details and generate OTP to obtain the Application Number.

Following submission of necessary registration details, the candidate will be issued an application number which will be used in the rest of the process of the CMAT 2024 application form. Write down the number of your application and keep it safe.

Note: No prefix in the candidate's name is allowed.

Part II: Application Page

Step 1: Log in with your Application No. and password created during Registration.

Step 2:  Click "Complete Application Form".

Step 3: Enter the following details:

• Candidate's Complete Correspondence Address
• Candidate's Permanent Address
• Alternate Mobile Number
• Nationality and State of Residence
• Category and Additional Proof of Identity

Step 4: Select City and State preferences.

Step 5: Enter your Parents' details - qualifications, occupation, etc.

Step 6: Enter your Educational details carefully.

Step 7:  Upload scanned images of the following:

CMAT Exam Application Form - Important Documents

• A laptop with access to the internet.
•  Government ID proof details such as government ID numbers are mandatory.
• Date of birth as shown in the one-tenth board certificate.
•  Government identity specifications like an Aadhaar Card Number (last 4 digits)/Election Card Number (EPIC No.)/Passport number/Ration Card number/Bank account number/PAN number/ Other official ID cards.
• Educational/qualification details.
• Sized-up clean passport copy (size between 10 KB-200 KB) with 80% facial visibility against a white background.
• Scanned clear signature of the user (preferably, from 4 to 30 kb).
• PwD certificate (file size: - If applicable, add the carrier frequency, modulation types, and bandwidth (10 kb-300 kb).
• Credit card details /bank account details for fee payment.
• Valid Email ID for important communications.
•  A valid phone number that SMS notifications will be sent.
• Valid debit/credit card or net banking account for online payment.

Check List for filling out the CMAT Online Application Form: 

• Before filling out the Online Application Form, candidates are advised to ensure the following points: 
• Check whether they fulfill the eligibility conditions for the Test as prescribed under the heading 'Conditions of Eligibility'.
• Make sure to fill in the correct gender and category viz General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/Gen-EWS/Male/Female/Third gender, in the relevant column. 
• Fill in the correct Subject and City of Examination in the relevant column. 
• PwD (Person with Disability) candidates should fill the relevant column in the Online Application Form. Others should leave it blank. 
• Keep a printout of the Application Form (confirmation page) for their record.

CMAT Exam Application Form - Important Points to Note:

1. Candidates must provide their complete postal address with a PIN code for further correspondence.
2. Candidates should ensure that the email address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own and cannot be changed later. NTA will communicate through email or SMS.
3. Candidates should not provide the postal address, mobile number, or email ID of a coaching center in the online application form.
4. Candidates are required to apply for CMAT 2024 only through the online mode. Offline forms or changes requested through fax, email, etc., will not be accepted.
5. Candidates will have a specific correction window to correct/modify/edit some particulars of the application form online. No changes will be entertained after the closing of the correction window.
6. Candidates should carefully choose the cities where they want to take the examination, as no changes will be allowed once the application is submitted.
7. Selection in the test is provisional and subject to the candidate being found eligible for admission.
8. If a candidate provides incorrect information or false identity, penal action will be taken as per the law.
9. Candidates are not required to send or submit the confirmation page of the online application form to NTA. However, they should retain at least four printouts of the confirmation page, proof of fee paid, photographs (same as uploaded on the application form), and any relevant documents for future correspondence.
