The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will be conducted on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM. The decision was made by the Consortium's Executive Committee and Governing Body during their meetings on April 26, 2024.
CLAT is a centralized national-level entrance exam conducted for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India. Both CLAT UG and CLAT PG for the 2025 session will be held on the same date and time.
The registration process for CLAT 2025 is expected to commence in July 2024. Candidates are advised to visit the official CLAT website regularly for updates regarding the application process, syllabus, and counseling details.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an entrance exam for admissions to law programs at NLUs and other law schools across the country.
Over the years, it has become the premier examination for aspiring law students seeking undergraduate and postgraduate law education in India.
