As Symbiosis International University is conducting the entrance exam in remote proctored mode, a lot of you might be confused about the instructions to be followed.
In 2024, the SET examination will take place in dedicated exam centers. You will be asked for your test center city preference and will be allotted the center as per availability. You can check your test center on your admit card.

SET Instructions Before the Test
Here is a list of SET exam day guidelines that you should do and should not do before the SET exam commences.
Things to do:
- Check your test center address on your admit card for SET exam, plan your travel, and reach the examination center at least half an hour before the gate closes.
- Carry a pen, water bottle, admit card, and your addhar card.
- Have a breakfast before the examination, not too heavy but should contain carbohydrates.
Things not to do:
- Do not carry any thing other than the four things mentioned above in the examination hall.
- Do not give a mock test on the same day of the exam (and even the day before).
- Do not cause any disturbances in the examination hall or action may be taken against you.

SET Exam Day Instructions During the Test

Things To Do:
- Accept the Terms and Conditions displayed on the test window.
- Read and understand the Test Instructions, Section Instructions and Question level instructions.
- Keep a check on the timer.
- Look for any onscreen messages and respond immediately as per the message received.
- Immediately call the invigilator if any error appears on the screen; do not try to resolve the issue yourself.

- Do not cover the webcam at any point of the examination.
- Do not consume any breakfast/meal/snacks/beverage.
- Do not cover or mask your face.
- Do not change the seating posture.
- Do not talk to anybody while taking the Test.

- Do a manual submit of responses to questions by pressing the ‘Submit’ button once you have completed the exam.
- Do not leave the exam premises until asked to do so.

- Do not try to re-take the assessment unless specifically instructed to do so.
- Do not try to reach out to the Helpdesk to know your score and result.
