SET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024

The SET exam eligibility 2024 is mentioned below: 

• For General Category: Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.
• For SC/ST: Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% Marks or equivalent grade.

You can also apply if you appear for the qualifying exam in 2024. However, you have to submit the passing certificate during the admission process.

• You will be shortlisted for PI/WAT/ST-PI based on your respective SET exam marks. 
• To be eligible for admission to any UG program, you must attend all components/tests of PI/WAT/ST-PI.
• Only those who attend all components/tests of the selection process (PI/WAT/ST-PI) shall be considered eligible for the merit/wait/reject list to be generated.
• Those who remain absent for any of the components/tests will be considered ineligible for the SIU's UG degree programme selection process.

• The first step is registration. After clicking on the "Apply Now" button on the official website, the online window to register for the exam will open.
• If you have registered for the exam, click the "sign-in" button. Otherwise, click on the "register" button.
• Once you click on the "register" button, you will be redirected to a new page. Here, you must read all the instructions carefully and then click on the "I Agree" button.
• In the next step, fill in all the required details, such as your name, date of birth, category, mobile number, e-mail ID, etc., and upload a scanned photo and signature.

SET 2024 Admit Card

Admit card for the SET Test is an important document without which you will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU.

You can take the colour print of the SET Admit Card from the official website for both phases. If you apply for multiple tests, you should make sure to carry a separate hall ticket for each test.

You must reach the exam centre at least half an hour before the exam time mentioned in the call letter.

• You can download the scorecard from the official website one month after the result is announced.
