Educational Qualification

• The candidates must pass their 10th standard examination or matriculation from a relevant board with minimum passing marks. 

RRB NTPC

• In certain NTPC posts, the candidates should pass their 12th standard examination from a relevant board with minimum passing marks.
• In certain NTPC posts, the candidates should have a graduation degree from a relevant university with minimum passing marks.
• In some special NTPC posts, the candidates should pass their 12th standard examination from a relevant board with minimum passing marks along with a certification in computer. 

Junior Engineer

• The candidates must have a Diploma/ Degree in the relevant subject of engineering. 

Junior Engineer (Information Technology)

• The candidates must possess the following Degrees like B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ BCA / B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC ‘B’ Level Course having a 3 years duration or equivalent from recognized university/ institute.

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant

• The candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science with Chemistry and Physics with minimum passing marks of 45%.

Depot Material Superintendent: 

• The candidates must possess a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering from any discipline.

Age Criteria

• The age limit for different positions of Thiruvananthapuram RRB requires a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum age limit of 30 years as of January 2020.
