Educational Qualification

  • The candidates must pass their 10th standard examination or matriculation from a relevant board with minimum passing marks.

NTPC

  • In certain posts, the candidates should pass their 12th standard examination from a relevant board with minimum passing marks.
  • In certain posts, the candidates should have a graduation degree from a relevant university with minimum passing marks.
  • In some special posts, the candidates should pass their 12th standard examination from a relevant board with minimum passing marks along with a certification in computer.

Junior Engineer

  • The candidates must have a Diploma/ Degree in the relevant subject of engineering.

Junior Engineer (Information Technology)

  • The candidates must possess the following Degrees like B.Tech. (Computer Science)/ BCA / B.Tech. (Information Technology)/ PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ DOEACC ‘B’ Level Course having a 3 years duration or equivalent from recognised university/ institute.

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant

  • The candidates need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Science with Chemistry and Physics with minimum passing marks of 45%.

Depot Material Superintendent:

  • The candidates should have a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering from any discipline.

Age Criteria

  • The age limit for different positions like Junior Engineering JE, DMS & CMA of Kolkata RRB requires a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum age limit of 30 years as of January 2020.
  • The candidates from the OBC category will get age relaxation up to 3 years more.
  • In the SC/ ST category also the candidates will get age relaxation up to 5 years.
