Overview: MAH MBA CET was conducted by Maharashtra state on March 9, 10 and 11, 2024. The MAH MBA CET 2024 result was declared in the form of scorecards to the candidates on May 16. The next round, the CAP round, will be conducted in July 2024.

The CAP round will be conducted in three rounds, the schedule of which will be released by the Maharashtra State CET Cell at their official websites in the month of June. The eligible candidates will be able to participate in this CAP round to move further in the admission process.

MAH MBA CET Result 2024

The MAH MBA CET 2024 result date was May 16, 2024, when the candidate who appeared for the entrance test can see their scorecards by logging in with their registered email ID and password.

The candidates could log in via the official website of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test cell https://cetcell.mahacet.org/

Now that the MAH MBA CET result 2024 is out, the next step is to register yourself for the CAP 2024 round for further processing and ultimately admission to the 2024-25 batch at www.mahacet.org. The schedule for this process will be released soon by the MAH CET Cell.

MAH MBA CET 2024 Result and Score Normalization

The MAH MBA CET 2024 was conducted on different dates in March 2024. The standard of the questions does not always match and hence in order to maintain the equivalency the CET Cell use the Normalization Method to ensure that the candidates do not face any challenge due to multiple level of difficult in all the three exams with a maximum mark of 200.

Percentile Score:

These are the scores in MAH MBA CET which are based on the relative performance of all the candidates who appear for the examination. Basically, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.

The Percentile Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored EQUAL TO OR BELOW (same or lower raw scores) that particular Percentile in that examination.

Therefore, the topper (highest score) of each session will get the same Percentile of 100 which is desirable. The marks obtained in between the highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate Percentiles. The Percentile score of a Candidate is calculated as follows:

100* (No. of candidates appeared in the session with raw score more than or equal to candidate's raw score)

MAH MBA CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have passed minimum 3-year Duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by UGC or AIU in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • At least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only or its equivalent.
  • If you have appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree then also you can apply.

MAH CET MBA Syllabus for 2024

A) Logical / Abstract Reasoning

  • This includes the questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think.
  • This test has questions based on figures and diagrams and also question on verbal reasoning.
  • The questions will be based on logical situations and questions based on the facts given in the passage.

B) Quantitative Aptitude

  • This includes the questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, etc.
  • This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.

C) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

  • This includes passages with questions based on their contents to test your comprehension.
  • The questions will be based on grammar, vocabulary, word & phrases, jumbled paragraphs, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc.
  • Your English language ability would be tested through questions on:
  1. Understanding of the contents of the passage and
  2. Choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.
