Jharkhand Judiciary Personal Test 2021

The Viva-Voce test/personality test will be 100 marks and the minimum required qualification marks for the Viva-Voce exam will be 25 per cent for general category candidates and 20 per cent for reserved categories.   • No applicant, regardless of the marks obtained by him in the Main Assessment, shall be qualified for appointment if he obtains less than the minimum specified marks in the Viva-Voce Test.
  • The final selection list shall be drawn up based on the marks obtained in the main assessment and the Viva-Voce test.
  • In the event of a tie of marks between the applicants in the final selection list, their selection shall be made primarily based on qualification, i.e., preference shall be given to a person with a Postgraduate Degree in Law, and subsequently based on experience, if any, in legal practice and, if required, based on age.

Jharkhand Judiciary Exam Pattern 2021

  • The Preliminary Entrance Test is a written exam with objective or Multiple Choice type questions. The Mains Exam and the Viva Voce Test shall follow the Preliminary Entry Test for direct recruitment to the post of Civil Judges Junior Division. 
  • As per the Judiciary Exam Pattern, there will be no negative marking for the wrong answers in the preliminary examination.
  • In the prelims exam, candidates will be tested on general English, current affairs, general knowledge, and different law procedures. The prelims exam is conducted for 100 marks with total time duration of 2 hours.
  • The Jharkhand Judiciary Main Examination consists of four papers: Paper 1, paper 2, paper 3, and paper 4. Each paper is conducted for 100 marks. The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours.
