IIM Ranchi Releases Prospectus for IPM Program

IIM Ranchi has published the admission brochure or criteria of admitting students to the IPM Program for the coming session 2021-2026. It had previously announced this big news of launching the program along with IIM Bodhgaya. 

IIM Ranchi now becomes the 4th India Institute of Management announcing this course. This information has been sourced from various newspapers and is authentic.

The number of seats announced for the course is unexpectedly large, i.e. they have announced 120 seats.

The college has added an additional benefit for the students enrolling in the BBA program. The students who complete 5 years or enroll in the 5-year program will be awarded an MBA degree on completion of the course.

Like other IPM Indore, they also have a cross-disciplinary course structure. They have included multidisciplinary aspects in the curriculum for the personality development of the students. 

They have introduced courses in data sciences, finance, marketing, accounting, humanities, management, social sciences, IT, economics, etc.

IPM Ranchi won't be conducting any separate entrance exam for the admissions as per this news. The college will consider scores from the SAT Exam for their admissions.

Fee Structure at IIM Ranchi for IPM Program

They haven't disclosed much about the detailed structure of the fee for the IPM Program but they'd take 14 lakhs fee for the initial three years.

For the other two years, the fee charged will be similar to the PG or MBA courses offered at IIM Ranchi.

Considering the above-mentioned information, it is estimated that the total fee for the course will be 27-28 lakhs.

They are charging a similar fee as charged by other IIMs, however, they'd also offer similar quality and teaching experience to students as offered at other campuses.

Students can keep a note that the mentioned fee doesn't include a hostel or rental fee.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure at IIM Ranchi

A minimum percentage of 60% in Class 10th and 12th is accepted for BBA admissions. A relaxation of 5% is offered to students belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD).

The admission criteria for the course will be based on SAT Exam scores along with written ability test, personal interview, and overall performance in the secondary and higher secondary level.

SAT Exam is the abbreviated form of the Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is conducted 5 times a year in March, May, August, September, October, and December.
