IIFT Eligibility Criteria 

• Recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any disciplines with minimum 50% marks [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories].
• Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 31, 2024.
• Admission of the candidate who joins the programme on provisional basis but fails to obtain minimum percentage in the Bachelor’s degree examination will be automatically cancelled forth with.
• Such candidate should immediately inform the Institute on declaration of his/her results.
• Admission of candidates who do not inform the Institute of such a situation will automatically stand cancelled on 31st October 2024.
• No request for extension of time for re-evaluation, etc. will be entertained.

For Foreign Nationals/NRIs: 

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration with minimum 50% marks.
• Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 31st October 2024.
• In order to qualify as an international candidate for the purpose of applying to IIFT’s MBA (IB) Programme a candidate should have been (expected to be) resident outside India for a period of notless than 18 months as on 31st December 2023 and be outside India during CAT 2023 examination.
• Foreign Nationals need to have a valid passport/ travel document from a country other than India.
• If the candidate has appeared for any MBA entrance examination for that year in India (2023) such as, XAT /MAT, etc., he /she is not eligible to apply.

IIFT Mode of Admission

For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates

• The process indicated below will be applicable equally for admission to Delhi and Kolkata Campuses.
• On the basis of valid CAT 2023 score, Group Discussion, Interview and other defined parameters.
• Shortlisted candidates for the second round of the admission process will be called Group Discussion and Interview to be held in March/April 2024 at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. IIFT reserves the right to add/ delete any centre, if required.

For Foreign National/NRI

• On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) and interview.
• For MBA 2024-26, GMAT result should not have been declared before 1 January 2022 and should be received by the Institute latest by 15 March 2024. Last date to submit the application fee is 15 March 2024.

The total IIFT Delhi fees for pursuing MBA (IB) is as follows:

IIFT Registration Process 

To register for IIFT 2024, candidates must have their documents and details ready to complete the application form. Follow these steps once the registration window is open: 

• Go to the NTA website and click "IIFT MBA 2023-25 Registration". 
• Click on "New Registration". 
• Fill in the required details and reconfirm them. 
• Click on "Submit" to get the OTP. 
• Enter the OTP received and click on "Submit Registration Form". 
• Click "Complete Application Form" and fill in the remaining details. 
• Upload the necessary documents. 
• Review the information and pay the required fees. 
• After successful payment, download the confirmation page. 

Required Documents: 

1. Passport size photograph (jpg format, 10-200 kb).
2. Signature (jpg format, 4-30 kb).
3. Reservation/PwD certificate (if applicable) (pdf format, 50-300 kb).

IIFT Delhi Admission Process 2024 

• The IIFT Delhi admission process for the 2024 academic session involves shortlisting candidates based on their exam scores for a personality assessment round.
• Candidates who clear the IIFT cut-offs based on the CAT 2023 exam are selected for the Extempore and Personal Interview.
• In a Group Discussion (GD) round, candidates are divided into groups of 10-12 and given a topic. They are expected to initiate, communicate efficiently, and present their ideas effectively.
• The last round is the Personal Interview (PI) round, where the panelists interview the candidates. The result of selection for admission is communicated to the candidates through email. 

IIFT Cut-Offs for MBA Admission 2024 

The institute shortlists candidates for MBA admission (PI and extempore) based on minimum scores in the entrance exam. The cut-offs for the 2024 batch could be higher than this year. The IIFT 2024 cut-offs will be shared once they are released in April 2024.
