Candidates seeking admission must compulsorily write the DU LLM examination, and admission to the course will be finalized based on their performance and overall score at the entrance exam.

  • Candidates must have a 3/5-year LL.B degree with a minimum of 50% in graduation.
  • Students from the SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) are given a 10% relaxation, requiring 45% minimum marks.
  • The applicant must have taken the Delhi University entrance exam and must possess valid scores.

The DU LLM is a 2 and 3-year course that is divided into 4 semesters of 6 months each. 

You complete 82 credits in order to complete a course and receive a degree.

The majority of the subjects in LLM are electives for a two-year LL.M course. There are very few core subjects.
