The Central Board of Secondary Education cancelled the 12th Board Examination 2021. Yes, it is sudden shocking news for you all. It is obvious that too many things start running in our minds - what to do next? which course to choose next? and many more.
Immediately after CBSE, CISCE also announced the cancelation of board exams for 12th grade.
PM Modi gave the decision on CBSE 12th Board Exam considering the ongoing situation across the country. The decision is also taken in the interest of student's safety.
A review meeting was held on 1st June at 05:30 PM to discuss the future of CBSE exams. A detailed presentation was shown on the current consequences and views received from stakeholders and other state governments.
"The health and safety of our students are of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect," PM Modi said.
He also added, "Students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation".
The situation might be coming in control but many states are still suffering from the issue. Hence, on a wider note, PM Modi gave a student-friendly decision considering students, parents, and teachers' health.
CBSE shall compile the results according to well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner. This is yet unclear but will be notified in the coming days.
There are many students not happy with the decision. But, CBSE also announced that unsatisfied students will be given a chance of appearing in exams.
