Age Limit to apply for Army Public School Recruitment

The Age Limit to apply for the examination has been segregated into 2: Fresh & Experienced 1) Fresh Candidates ( Less than 5 years of experience): The Age of the applicant should be below 40 years (In the case of Delhi schools for the post of TGT/PRT the age should be less than 29 yrs & for the post of PGT less than 36 years.

2) Experience Candidates ( More than 5 Years of experience in the Past 10 Years): The age of the applicant should be below 57 years (In the case of Delhi APS it should be below 40 Yrs)

Army Public School Recruitment Exam Fee 2019

The Examination fee for APS Teachers Exam is Rs 500/- for all candidates. This examination fee is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the application fee via Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking.

Online Screening Exam

• Army School Recruitment Test is an MCQ based online exam.
• Total Duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
• The Online Screening test will be conducted on 19th and 20th October 2019.
• The test will be conducted by HQ AWES centrally to ensure uniform quality of teachers in all Army Public Schools. 
• A Score Card will be given to all those candidates who clear the Online exam. This scorecard will make the candidate eligible for the next round in the selection process.

Interview

The interviews may or may not be held at the location of the local school. The local management holds the right to conduct an interview at a place of their choosing. Only candidates who have the scorecard from the online screening test will be called for the interview.

Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency Test 

To recruit for Language teachers, the written test will comprise of Essay & Comprehension of 15 marks each. Along with the written test, there will be an evaluation of teaching skills. Selection Committee may also hold Computer proficiency tests if they feel it is essential.
