These modifications, which are intended to correspond with the most recent University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations, include a new four-year honors program with a three-year exit option, structured admission testing, and deadlines for all undergraduate courses. 

Key Changes in St. Xavier's College Admission Schedule 

The college has established specific deadlines and test dates as part of its new policy. The deadline for online application form and fee payment is June 15, 2024.

Following that, the college will have offline admission tests for its Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Mass Communication programs on June 17, 2024, at its main campus at 30 Park Street in Kolkata.

Selection and Admission Process 

The first selection list for BCom and BMS programs will be announced on June 26, 2024, followed by the BA, BSc, and integrated MSc programs on June 28, 2024.

The window for online admissions for St. Xavier's entrance test will open shortly after these dates. The physical verification of documents is scheduled for July 10 to July 14, 2024. The inauguration and orientation for new students is scheduled for July 17 and 18. 

Program Costs and Special Provisions 

The application fee varies by program, with costs outlined as follows: 

• Rs. 1000/- for BMS, B.Sc. Mass Communication & Videography, and M.Sc. Multimedia (Integrated) 
• Rs. 500/- for all other courses 
• Rs. 200/- for programs at the Raghabpur Campus
