Quantitative Aptitude Memory-Based Question Types

  • A coin is tossed thrice. What is the probability that exactly 2 heads occur?
  • A player’s average score in 10 innings is to be found; the first 6 innings were given. Find the average of the last 4 innings. (Options had inconsistencies)
  • A mixture problem: Three components in the ratio 1:1:2. Prices of the first two and the final mixture were given. Find the price of the third component.
  • Three runners take A, B & C minutes respectively to complete a round. If they start together in the same direction, after how much time will they meet again?
  • In a bill worth ₹540, if the true discount is ₹90, what is the banker’s discount?
  • Given P = ₹660, A = ₹700, and time = 2 years, find the Simple Interest (SI) for 7 years at the same rate and principal.
  • 27 to the power 2/3 = x. Find 3x
  • Eight years ago, A’s age was X, and B’s was X+4. After 8 years, their age ratio becomes 6:7. Find their age ratio 4 years from now.
  • In a party, 28 handshakes took place. Find the number of people at the party.

Verbal Ability Memory-Based Question Types

1. Reading Comprehension

3 Passages in total:

  • Passage 1: 4 Questions – Easy

Topics involved general reading with a mix of opinion and factual tone.

2. Grammar-Based Questions

Students were asked to logically arrange jumbled sentences to form coherent paragraphs.

This required both grammar awareness and logical sequencing skills.

Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation Memory-Based Question Types

  • The paper was pretty simple and straightforward (LR being easy).​
  • There were 3 sets from arrangements and 1 from flat arrangement type (7 people on different floors & 1 from hexagonal arrangement & 1 from floor-based)​​
  • A few questions were jumbled up in both the sections - Two questions from QA were in LR and 2 from LR were in QA​

IPMAT Rohtak 2025 Good Attempts & Expected Cut-offs

With high attempt rates and accuracy levels reported, expert consensus pegs “Good Attempts” at 98+, while top performers are expected to score above 110.

As per current predictions, the General Category cut-off could go beyond 375 marks.
