IIM Lucknow Announces Future Plans of Launching UG Program

Lucknow, India - 06th June 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has announced ambitious plans to launch world-class undergraduate programmes in emerging and high-impact fields at the intersection of business and technology.

The proposed programmes will cover critical areas such as Business Analytics, Data Science, and Economics, and are currently under review by the Academic Council and the Board of Governors.

The announcement was made on the linkedin post, congratulating Prof. Sanjay.K.Singh as the new Dean (Programmes) at IIM Lucknow.

A seasoned academic and administrator, Prof. Singh previously served as Dean of Faculty (2018-2020) and Chairman of the Post Graduate Programme (2014-2016).

Commenting on the institute's forward-looking vision, Prof. Singh stated:

"Under the visionary leadership of our Director, Prof. M. P. Gupta, we are preparing to propose a Hybrid MBA, primarily in online mode, and introduce new postgraduate offerings. Alongside, we are also working toward launching undergraduate programmes that are aligned with the evolving demands of the global economy. These initiatives reflect our commitment to expanding access and innovation in management education."

The move marks a significant step in IIM Lucknow's evolution, as the institution looks to broaden its academic horizon and attract young talent at the undergraduate level-building a stronger pipeline of future-ready business leaders and data-driven professionals.
