राष्ट्रीय

वित्त मंत्री ने "आत्मरनिर्भर भारत अभियान" के लिए 5 वीं किश्त की घोषणा की

5 वीं किश्त को रोजगार, व्यवसायों को सहायता प्रदान करने, व्यवसाय करने में आसानी और राज्य सरकारों के साथ-साथ शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य जैसे क्षेत्रों के लिए सरकारी सुधार पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाता है। इसके तहत सात उपायों की घोषणा की गई है।

1. रोजगार प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करने के लिए MGNREGS के लिए आवंटन में 40,000 करोड़ रुपये की वृद्धि हुई है - कुल मिलाकर लगभग 300 करोड़ व्यक्ति-दिन उत्पन्न करने में मदद करेगा।
2. स्वास्थ्य सुधार और पहल- स्वास्थ्य पर सार्वजनिक व्यय घास-मूल स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों में निवेश करके बढ़ाया जाएगा। ICMR द्वारा एक स्वास्थ्य के लिए राष्ट्रीय संस्थागत मंच अनुसंधान को प्रोत्साहित करेगा। और राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य मिशन के तहत राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य खाका का कार्यान्वयन करेगा।
3. प्रौद्योगिकी संचालित शिक्षा के साथ इक्विटी के बाद-PM eVIDYA- डिजिटल / ऑनलाइन शिक्षा के लिए मल्टी-मोड एक्सेस के लिए एक कार्यक्रम तुरंत शुरू किया जाएगा;

• राज्यों / केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में स्कूली शिक्षा के लिए DIKSHA: ई-कंटेंट और सभी ग्रेड (एक राष्ट्र, एक डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म) के लिए क्यूआर कोडित एनर्जेटिक टेक्स्टबुक
• 1 से 12 तक प्रति वर्ग टीवी चैनल (एक वर्ग, एक चैनल)
• रेडियो, सामुदायिक रेडियो और पॉडकास्ट का व्यापक उपयोग
• दृष्टिबाधित और श्रवण बाधित लोगों के लिए विशेष ई-सामग्री।
• शीर्ष 100 विश्वविद्यालयों को 30 मई, 2020 तक स्वचालित रूप से ऑनलाइन पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
• मनोदपन-मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और भावनात्मक भलाई के लिए छात्रों, शिक्षकों और परिवारों के मनोवैज्ञानिक समर्थन के लिए एक पहल तुरंत शुरू की जाएगी।
• नेशनल फाउंडेशनल लिटरेसी एंड न्यूमेरिस मिशन यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि प्रत्येक बच्चे को 2025 तक ग्रेड 5 में सीखने के स्तर और परिणाम प्राप्त होंगे, दिसंबर 2020 तक लॉन्च किया जाएगा।

4. IBC से संबंधित उपायों के माध्यम से महामारी की स्थिति के आधार पर, एक साल तक की दिवाला कार्यवाही की नई शुरुआत का निलंबन।
5. कंपनी अधिनियम की चूक को कम करना- संशोधन आपराधिक न्यायालयों और NCLT को हटा देगा। 7 कंपाउंडेबल अपराधों को पूरी तरह से हटा दिया गया और 5 को वैकल्पिक ढांचे के तहत निपटाया गया।
6. कॉर्पोरेट्स के लिए व्यापार करने में आसानी- अनुमेय विदेशी न्यायालयों में भारतीय सार्वजनिक कंपनियों द्वारा प्रतिभूतियों की प्रत्यक्ष सूची। एनसीएलएटी के लिए अतिरिक्त / विशेष बेंच बनाने की शक्ति। छोटी कंपनियों, एक-व्यक्ति कंपनियों, निर्माता कंपनियों और स्टार्ट अप के लिए सभी चूक के लिए जुर्माना।
7. एक नए, आत्मनिर्भर भारत के लिए सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की उद्यम नीति- एक नई सुसंगत नीति की आवश्यकता है - जहां सभी क्षेत्र निजी क्षेत्र के लिए खुले हों, जबकि सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यम (PSE) परिभाषित क्षेत्रों में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे। इसके अनुसार, सरकार एक नई नीति की घोषणा करेगी। 

NRAI ने तकनीकी प्लेटफॉर्म तैयार के लिए DotPe के साथ मिलाया हाथ

नेशनल रेस्टोरेंट्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (NRAI) ने अपना खुद का तकनीकी प्लेटफॉर्म तैयार करने के लिए फिनटेक स्टार्ट-अप DotPe के साथ समझौता किया है। यह प्लेटफॉर्म NRAI को डिजिटल ऑर्डरिंग, बिल सेटलमेंट्स और कॉन्टैक्टलेस डाइनिंग के लिए ऑनलाइन पेमेंट करने में सक्षम बनाएगा। इस समझौते के अंतर्गत DotPe, NRAI तकनीकी समाधान उपलब्ध कराएगा।

NRAI, भारत में खाद्य और पेय उद्योग का शीर्ष निकाय है। यह साझेदारी मौजूदा फूड-दिगाज एग्रीगेटर्स, Zomato और Swiggy पर सीधे लागू होगी। एनआरएआई पांच लाख से अधिक रेस्तरां व्यवसायों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। इसके अलावा यह सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्मों जैसे कि व्हाट्सएप, फेसबुक और इंस्टाग्राम के साथ तालमेल बिठाकर ऑर्डर करने की सुविधा और रेस्तरां के भागीदारों के लिए सुविधाएं और विजिबिल्टी प्रदान करने के लिए कार्य कर रहा है जो संभवतः इसके सदस्य हो सकते हैं। 

प्रवासियों के आवागमन को ट्रैक करने के लिए केंद्र ने राष्ट्रीय प्रवासी सूचना प्रणाली ’शुरू की

• ऑनलाइन डैशबोर्ड को मौजूदा एनडीएमए-जीआईएस पोर्टल पर राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (एनडीएमए) द्वारा विकसित किया गया है। यह विभिन्न राज्यों में फंसे श्रमिकों के आंदोलन के बारे में जानकारी हासिल करने में मदद करेगा।
• गृह मंत्रालय (एमएचए) ने राज्यों को प्रवासी श्रमिकों के बेहतर समन्वय, संपर्क अनुरेखण और आंदोलन की निगरानी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए एनएमआईएस पर डेटा अपलोड करने की सूचना दी है। 

38 और नई मंडियों को ई-नाम प्लेटफॉर्म के साथ एकीकृत किया गया

• 38 नई मंडियों को ई-एनएएम प्लेटफॉर्म के साथ एकीकृत किया गया।
• इस कदम के साथ, पैन-इंडिया इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कृषि व्यापार पोर्टल, ई-एनएएम 18 राज्यों और 3 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों (यूटीएस) में 1,000 मंडियों के मील के पत्थर तक पहुंच गया है।
• कृषि मंत्रालय द्वारा इस सूचना की घोषणा की गई थी।

हिंदुजा, रियूबेन बंधु ब्रिटेन में दूसरे सबसे अमीर

हिंदुजा परिवार और रियूबेन बंधु, भारतीय मूल के ये दोनों उद्यमी परिवार ब्रिटेन के दूसरे सबसे अमीर व्यक्ति हैं। दोनों परिवारों की संपत्ति 16-16 अरब पौंड है। वहीं ब्रितानी नवोन्मेषक जेम्स डायसन 16.2 अरब पौंड की संपत्ति के साथ पहले स्थान पर हैं। ‘द संडे टाइम्स रिच लिस्ट-2020’ के मुताबिक हिंदुजा समूह की कंपनियां चलाने वाले श्रीचंद हिंदुजा और गोपीचंद हिंदुजा की संपत्ति एक साल में छह अरब पौंड कम हूई है। पिछले साल वह सूची में पहले स्थान पर थे। मुंबई में जन्में डेविड और सिमॉन रियूबेन की संपत्ति पिछले एक साल में 2.66 अरब पौंड घटी है। लेकिन वह 2019 की भांति दूसरे स्थान पर बने रहे।

एचडीएफसी के जुबैर इकबाल होंगे J&K बैंक के नए एमडी

जम्मू और कश्मीर सरकार द्वारा एचडीएफसी बैंक के सीनियर वाईस प्रेसिडेंट जुबैर इकबाल को जम्मू और कश्मीर बैंक का नया प्रबंध निदेशक नियुक्त किया गया है। इकबाल की नियुक्ति तीन साल की अवधि के लिए की गई है।

18 मई : अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय दिवस

समाज के विकास में संग्रहालय कितने महत्वपूर्ण हैं इस पर जागरूकता बढ़ाने हेतु 18 मई को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय दिवस मनाया जाता है। 2020 का विषय ‘Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion’ था।

1977 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय दिवस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय परिषद (आईसीओएम) द्वारा स्थापित किया गया था। इस दिन का उद्देश्य सांस्कृतिक आदान-प्रदान, संस्कृतियों का संवर्धन और पारस्परिक समझ के विकास, लोगों के बीच सहयोग और शांति के महत्वपूर्ण साधनों के रूप में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।

यह विश्व के संग्रहालयों और संग्रहालय पेशेवरों का एकमात्र संगठन है, जो वर्तमान और भविष्य, मूर्त और अमूर्त, प्राकृतिक और सांस्कृतिक विरासत को बढ़ावा देने तथा संरक्षण हेतु प्रतिबद्ध है। यह 1946 में बनाया गया था और इसका मुख्यालय पेरिस, फ्रांस में है।

National

FM announces 5th tranche of measures for “Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan”

The 5th tranche is focussed on Government Reforms and Enablers for providing employment, support to businesses, Ease of Doing Business, and State Governments as well sectors such as Education and Health. Seven measures have been announced under this.

 

1. Allocation for MGNREGS increased by Rs 40,000 Crore to provide employment boost– Will help generate nearly 300 crore person-days in total. 

2. Health Reforms & Initiatives- Public Expenditure on Health will be increased by investing in grass-root health institutions. National Institutional Platform for One health by ICMR will encourage research. And the implementation of National Digital Health Blueprint under the National Digital Health Mission. 

3. Technology Driven Education with Equity post-

PM eVIDYA– A programme for multi-mode access to digital/online education to be launched immediately; consisting of: 

DIKSHA for school education in states/UTs: e-content and QR coded Energized Textbooks for all grades (one nation, one digital platform)

One earmarked TV channel per class from 1 to 12 (one class, one channel)

Extensive use of Radio, Community radio and Podcasts

Special e-content for visually and hearing impaired.

Top 100 universities will be permitted to automatically start online courses by 30th May, 2020.

Manodarpan– An initiative for psychosocial support of students, teachers and families for mental health and emotional wellbeing to be launched immediately.

National Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Mission for ensuring that every child attains Learning levels and outcomes in grade 5 by 2025 will be launched by December 2020. 

4. Further enhancement of Ease of Doing Business through IBC related measures-

Minimum threshold to initiate insolvency proceedings raised to Rs. 1 crore (from Rs. 1 lakh, which largely insulates MSMEs).

Suspension of fresh initiation of insolvency proceedings up to one year, depending upon the pandemic situation. 

5. Decriminalisation of Companies Act defaults- The Amendments will de-clog the criminal courts and NCLT. 7 compoundable offences altogether dropped and 5 to be dealt with under alternative framework. 

6. Ease of Doing Business for Corporates- Direct listing of securities by Indian public companies in permissible foreign jurisdictions. Power to create additional/ specialized benches for NCLAT.Lower penalties for all defaults for Small Companies, One-person Companies, Producer Companies & Start Ups. 

7. Public Sector Enterprise Policy for a New, Self-reliant India- There is a need for a new coherent policy—where all sectors are open to the private sector while public sector enterprises(PSEs) will play an important role in defined areas. Accordingly, the government will announce a new policy whereby.

NRAI tie-up with DotPe to build tech platform

• National Restaurants Association of India (NRAI) has partnered with DotPe (a fintech start-up) to build its own tech platform that would enable them with online payments for digital ordering, bill settlements, and contactless dining.
• NRAI is the apex body of the Food and Beverage Industry in India.
• This would be in direct take on with existing food-tech aggregators, Zomato and Swiggy. It is also exploring synergies with social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram to provide and ordering facilities and visibility for restaurant partners who could potentially be its members.

Centre launched ‘National Migrant Information System’ to track movement of migrants

• The online dashboard has been developed by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on the existing NDMA-GIS portal. It will help in capturing the information regarding the movement of workers who have been stranded in different states.
• The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has informed the states to upload data on NMIS to ensure better coordination, contact tracing, and movement monitoring of the migrant workers. 

e-NAM reaches milestone of 1000 Mandis across 18 States, 3 UTs

• 38 new mandis were integrated with the e-NAM platform.
• With this move, the pan-India electronic agriculture trading portal, e-NAM has reached the milestone of 1,000 Mandis across 18 States and 3 Union Territories (UTS).
• The information was announced by the Agriculture Ministry.

Indian-origin Hinduja-Reuben Brothers Shares Second Spot in Annual UK  Rich List 2020

• The pair of Indian-origin siblings, Reuben and the Hinduja brothers, shares the second spot in the Britain’s annual rich list, with a fortune of 16 billion pounds each.
• ‘The Sunday Times Rich List 2020’ has been topped by British inventor-entrepreneur James Dyson tops with 16.2 billion pounds.
• Srichand and Gopichand Hinduja, the Hinduja Group of companies owner in UK, lost 6 billion pounds to slip to second position from the top slot in 2019.

Senior vice president of HDFC Bank, ZubairIqbal has appointed as new managing director of Jammu and Kashmir Bank by Jammu and Kashmir Government. Iqbal will have a three-year tenure.
