इंदौर से किशनगढ़ के बीच पहली उड़ान सेवा को हरी झंडी

उड़ान (यूडीएएन – उड़े देश के आम नागरिक) योजना के तहत नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय (Ministry of Civil Aviation) ने इंदौर (मध्‍य प्रदेश) से किशनगढ़ (अजमेर, राजस्‍थान) के बीच 16 मार्च,2020 से पहली उड़ान सेवा (First flight service) को हरी झंडी दिखाई।
किशनगढ़ भारत के मार्बल सिटी (Marble city)के रूप में भी जाना जाता है और यह लाल मिर्च का बड़ा बाजार (red chilli market) है।
विमान सेवा सप्‍ताह में तीन दिन (thrice weekly flight ) चलेगी और स्‍टार एयर को इंदौर-किशनगढ़ (Indore Kishangarh) मार्ग का कार्य सौंपा गया है।
इंदौर-किशनगढ़ मार्ग पर विमान सेवा (Indore Kishangarh flight ) के शुरू होने के साथ उड़ान योजना के तहत 268 हवाई मार्ग पर सेवाएं उपलब्‍ध हो गई हैं।
आरसीएस-यूडीएएन के तहत स्टार एयर पहले से ही बेलगावी से इंदौर के लिए सीधी उड़ानें संचालित कर रही है और अब “रंगों की भूमि” राजस्‍थान तक उसी मार्ग का विस्तार करेगी।

इस विनियम के अनुसार, स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण सेवाओं के निदेशक, राज्य स्तर पर चिकित्सा शिक्षा के निदेशक और डीसी, डीएचओ व डीएसएस को कई प्रकार के अधिकार दिए गए हैं। के संदिग्ध मरीजों की स्क्रीनिंग के लिए सभी सरकारी और निजी अस्पतालों में फ्लू वार्ड बनाए जाने का निर्देश दिया गया है। यदि किसी खास इलाके में के संक्रमण का पता चलता है तो वहां के जिलाधिकारी को बीमारी रोकने के लिए एहतियात के कदम उठाए जाने का अधिकार दिया गया है।

मोबाइल फोन पर जीएसटी 12% से बढ़ाकर 18% किया गया, महंगे होंगे हैंडसेट; नई दर 1 अप्रैल से लागू होगी

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण की अध्यक्षता में शनिवार को जीएसटी काउंसिल की 39वीं बैठक में मोबाइल फोन पर जीएसटी 12% से बढ़ाकर 18% करने को निर्णय लिया गया। काउंसिल के इस निर्णय से मोबाइल फोन की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी संभव है। के चलते चीन से मोबाइल कंपोनेंट की आपूर्ति प्रभावित होने से पहले ही हैंडसेट कंपनियां कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी की बात कर रही है। कुछ ब्रांड के मोबाइल फोन और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक गैजेट की कीमतों में पहले से ही तेजी देखने को मिल रही है।

सरकार ने वित्तीय सेवा सचिव पांडा को रिजर्व बैंक के बोर्ड में मनोनीत किया

सरकार ने वित्तीय सेवा सचिव देवाशीष पांडा को भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के केंद्रीय बोर्ड में मनोनीत किया है। रिजर्व बैंक के अनुसार, ‘‘केंद्र सरकार ने वित्त मंत्रालय के वित्तीय सेवा विभाग में सचिव देवाशीष पांडा को भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के केंद्रीय बोर्ड में राजीव कुमार की जगह निदेशक मनोनीत किया है।’’ पांडा का मनोनयन 11 मार्च, 2020 से अगले आदेश तक प्रभावी रहेगा।

वूमेन ऑन बोर्ड 2020' अध्ययन में भारत 12 वें स्थान पर

'वूमेन ऑन बोर्ड 2020' के अध्ययन के अनुसार भारत को विश्‍व में 12 वां स्थान दिया गया है। सूची में नॉर्वे 40.72% महिलाओं के साथ शीर्ष पर रहा। 'वूमेन ऑन बोर्ड 2020' पर एक अध्ययन वैश्विक भर्ती निविदा प्लेटफॉर्म MyHiringClub और सरकार-नौक्री द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया है। अध्ययन के लिए 36 देशों की 7824 सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों पर विचार किया गया। भारत से, 628 सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों ने एक ऑनलाइन अध्ययन में भाग लिया। यह अध्ययन वैश्विक स्तर पर कंपनियों के बोर्ड में महिलाओं की उपस्थिति पर आधारित था।

Centre invokes ‘Epidemic Act 1897’ and ‘Disaster Management Act’ to prevent the spread of pandemic; Karnataka becomes first state to invoke provisions of 1987 Act

• Following the 2019–20 pandemic, the Government of India has made it mandatory for all states and UTs to invoke provisions of Section 2 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897.
• The Centre has also announced that the powers held by the home ministry under the Disaster Management Act shall be “delegated” to the health ministry so as to prepare India against the outbreak.
• The law is meant for prevention of the spread of dangerous epidemic diseases by providing special powers that are required for the implementation of containment measures to control the spread of the disease.

First-ever Indore - Kishangarh flight commenced under UDAN

• The Ministry of Civil Aviation flagged off first-ever flight between Indore to Kishangarh. This flight will connect Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan thrice in a week. This flight has been started under UDAN scheme.
• Now, 268 routes have been dedicated under UDAN scheme by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Thousands of people will be benefitted as it will cover a distance of 550 kilometer.

Karnataka is the first state to invoke provisions of Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897

• Karnataka has become the first state in the country to notify ‘Karnataka Epidemic Diseases, Regulations, 2020’ under the Epidemic Diseases Act , 1897, Karnataka.

Microsoft launches website to track

• A user can click on the country on an interactive map to see the specific number of cases of novel infections in the country.
• The web portal displays the information by aggregating data from sources like the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

GST Rate on Mobile Phones to be hiked from 12% to 18% w.e.f 01 April

• The 39th GST (Goods and Services Tax) Council meeting under the Chairmanship of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was held in New Delhi on 14 March 2020.
• The Council has announced certain changes in the GST rates of the following items:
• Increase in GST rates on the Mobile phones from the present 12 percent to 18 percent.
• Slash the GST rate on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services of aircraft from 18 percent to 5 percent
• Rationalise the GST rates on handmade and machine-made matchsticks to 12 percent. Earlier this rate was 5 percent for Hand-made matches and 18 percent for machine-made ones.

GoI nominated Debasish Panda as director on RBI central board

• The Central Government has nominated Debasish Panda as a Director on the Central Board of Reserve Bank of India. He is a Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi.
• The nomination of Debasish Panda is effective from March 11, 2020, and until further orders. There are two government nominated Directors on the board of RBI. The other one is Atanu Chakraborty.

India ranked 12th globally in ‘Women On Board 2020’ study

• India has been ranked 12th in the world as per study titled ‘Women On Board 2020’. The list was topped by Norway with 40.72% women on board.
• A study on ‘Women On Board 2020’ has been done jointly by global recruitment tendering platforms MyHiringClub and Sarkari-Naukri.
