The fee payment deadline is 20th August (up to 11:59 pm).
DU Seat Allocation for CUET admissions
Allocations will be based on the unique common rank this year; therefore, having the same CUET cut-off score does not guarantee admission.
Ranks will not be generated for performance-based programs like B.A. (Hons) Music or B.Sc. [P.E, H.E&S], BFA, and specific supernumerary quotas (Sports, ECA, CW, and Ward).
The common rank is determined by applying the tie-breaking rules.
The fee payment deadline for DU admissions is 21st August (up to 4:59 pm).
If you pay the fees, you can opt for an upgrade for subsequent rounds.
Regular updates on the first allocation list, cut-offs, and other relevant information will be made available through official channels.
You should be aware that the provisional allocation or admission will be cancelled if you are found not to meet the Minimum Eligibility Criteria set by the Universities at any point.
The universities offer a withdrawal option for those who wish to withdraw their admission after securing a seat.
Once the college approves the withdrawal, you must pay the admission fee for the newly approved seat to complete the admission process.
You can initiate this process through their dashboard by selecting the 'Withdraw' option.
For BHU, the Withdraw option will no longer be available once the Spot Admission round(s) are announced.
Conclusion
As the CUET admission process begins, both BHU and DU are expected to witness a diverse and huge student intake, reflecting the inclusive nature of the CUET. The success of this first round of seat allocation will be a crucial indicator of the overall effectiveness of the CUET-based admission system.
