What is the Admission Process to Enroll for IPM Course?

Students must follow the standard selection process mentioned below to be admitted to IIM courses after the 12th standard:

1) Students must fill up the IPMAT Application Form aimed at understanding the students' proficiency in academics, as well as in co-curricular activities.

2) An entrance examination follows to test the applicant's aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics.

3) Shortlisted candidates appear for a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview. A student's confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge are assessed through the interview.

What is the Admission Process to Enroll for IPL Course?

Stage I: Online Registration

  • Interested applicants who fulfil the IIM Rohtak eligibility criteria can register for the IPL admissions by filling out the online Application Form.
  • Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in ANY of the following entrance examinations:
  1. CLAT Examination (Common Law Admission Test) - The candidate interested in the IPL admissions at IIM Rohtak may appear for CLAT. 
  2. IPM Aptitude Test - The candidate interested in the IPL admissions at IIM Rohtak and who did not appear for CLAT can also apply for the IPL programme by appearing for IPMAT. 

Stage II: Shortlisting and Online Personal Interview

  • The shortlisted applicants will be called for the Online Personal Interview on the basis of minimum eligibility criteria and CLAT Score or IPM AT Score.
  • The candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills in Online Personal Interviews.

Stage III: Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance

  • On the basis of the composite entrance exam score, past academic records, and personal interview, the final Merit List will be generated.
  • The candidates receiving the offer letter for IIM Rohtak IPL Admission and accepting the offer within the stipulated date must deposit the Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA).

Stage IV: Provisional Admission to IPL 

  •  The candidates accepting the offer of admission to IPL will be given a confirmation letter. 
  • The candidate must pay the First Year Programme Fee and report to the institute campus for registration on the stipulated date.
