The West Bengal Public service Commission released the notification for the WBCS Recruitment 2020 on 5th November 2019. A huge number of applicants have applied for the exam as it is recruitment for the Civil Services which is a reputed job in the Government Sector of India. Here, candidates will get the complete WBCS Exam Analysis 2020 which includes the good attempts, difficulty level, and the number of questions asked from the section of the exam.

After the completion of the exam, candidates can go through the WBCS Expected Cut Off 2020 to know the estimated marks on the basis of the previous year cut off. There are 4 stages of the exam is there- Prelims, Mains, Personal Interview, and Medical Exam. candidates who will get qualify in the WBBCS Prelims Exam are eligible for the next process of the exam which is Mains Exam.

WBCS Exam Analysis 2020

  • There is a detailed subject-wise review for the WBCS Prelims Exam which will be held on 9th February 2020.
  • As per the official notification, the final selection will be made on the combined marks of Mains Exam, Personal Interview, and Medical Exam.
  • The Prelims Exam will consist of only one paper which is General Studies. The questions will be asked in the form of Objective Form with a total of 200 Multiple-Choice Questions.
  • Candidates have to complete the exam in 2 Hours 30 Minutes (180 Minutes).
  • The applicants who applied for the exam will not have to give the Aptitude Test, unlike the other PSC (Public Service Commission) exams.
  • Candidates will get the complete information on the day of the exam with all the number of questions asked in the exam from each section.

WBCS Selection Process 2020

Candidates have to clear the 4 stages to be a part of the West Bengal Public Service Commission-

  • Prelims Exam- Candidates who cleared the Stage 1 of the exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains Exam. The exam will be Objective in nature.
  • Mains Exam- Applicants will be called for the Personal Interview. The candidates will be get selected on the basis of the merit list.
  • Personal Interview- The object of this process, candidates have to show their personal qualities like- attentiveness of mind, the power of clear and logical statement, intelligent and moral integrity, leadership and area of interests.
  • Medical Exam- The applicants who will be get selected for appointment will be required to appear before a Medical Board for certificates to show their fitness for Government service in the form prescribed for the plan.
