Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the official UPPSC PCS Notification 2020 on 21 April 2020 to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Provincial Civil Service (PCS). UPPSC PCS Age Limit 2020

Before applying for any exam, aspirants must check the age limit of a particular exam they are applying for because each exam has different age limit criteria. Here is a glimpse of an age limit for the UPPSC PCS exam.

  • Minimum age - 21 years.
  • Maximum age - 40 years

As per the notification, Candidates' maximum age should not exceed 40 years as on 01 July 2020.

Age Relaxation

UPPSC PCS Educational Qualification 2020

It is stated that a candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification to apply for UPPSC PCS Exam 2020. 

  • Candidates who are in the final year can also fill the application form. However, they have to submit their final year mark sheet at the time of the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission.

UPPSC PCS Nationality 2020

A candidate is eligible to apply for the UPPSC PCS  2020 Exam only if he is a citizen of India. Candidates from other countries are not eligible to fill the application form.

UPPSC PCS Marital status 2020

A person having more than one wife/husband shall not be eligible to apply for the exam unless they have exemption certification from the Honourable Governor.

  • Female candidates who are pregnant over 12 weeks or more will be declared temporarily unfit for the exam.

UPPSC PCS Physical Measurements 2020

Candidates also must meet the eligibility criteria of physical measurements or Fitness in order to qualify in UPPSC PCS Exam. They must undergo a medical test after the completion of the interview.
