CTET Result has been declared for the Central Teacher Teacher Eligibility Test exam held on 18 September 2016. Result of CTET notifies exam marks and status of qualifying the exam. The result was declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) which conducts and controls the exam.

The CBSE organises the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) twice a year, i.e. in the month of February and September respectively for each year. The CTET is conducted to fill the vacancies of the teachers for Primary level classes - 1st to 5th class and Elementary level classes - 6th to 8th class. In order to get selected in the CTET, the candidates need to clear the national level entrance exam.

The CTET has been conducted successfully in the month of September 2016 at 851 centres spread over 91 cities in India. The exam conducting authority – the CBSE has declared that the exam has been conducted successfully. It also informed that about 6, 50,000 students had registered for the CTET.

CTET 2016 Result Date

The exam was conducted on 18 Sep 2016. Central Board of Secondary Education released its OMR and official answer keys from 15 -19 Oct 2016. Now the CTET Sep 2016 Result has been declared by CBSE on 7 Nov 2016.

CTET Result 2016 – How to Check the result

The result of CTET 2016 will only be released online. Candidates will not be able to check it via any other medium. The candidates who appeared in the CTET 2016 exam will be able to check their result by following the below steps:

  • After clicking on the link, the candidate will be re-directed to a CTET Result login page. (Official website)
  • In this login page, the candidate has to enter the roll number and click on the button that says “Submit”.
  • As soon as the candidate clicks on the submit button, the requested result of CTET 2016 will be shown
  • The obtained result will show the marks secured by the candidates in each subject and overall.

Exam Pattern:

Both the paper will comprise of subjects which are similar but level of questions for both the post will be different.

    • Each of the paper will have maximum time limit of 150 marks and total time duration is 2.5 hours.

      • The questions will be of MCQ type i.e you have to choose one correct answer out of the given options.

  • Date of Birth (DOB)

  • The candidate must visit the official website

  • Click the relevant link titled ‘Download the Admit Card'

  • Enter the Registration number and Date of Birth and Press ‘Submit’ button

  • The Hall Ticket of CTET 2016 will appear on the screen.

  • Save the file

  • Take a print out of the Admit Card and keep it for future use.

Notable points for CTET Admit Card/Hall Ticket:

Candidates must ensure that the correctness of Admit card well before the exam.

  • If the candidate is unable to download the Admit Card of CTET 2016, they will have to contact and notify the official authority of exam.

  • The photo of the candidate on the admit card must be clear and visible

  • The candidate should paste a recent photo on the printed copy of the admit card.

  • There must not be any pen or pencil marks on the admit card

  • The candidate must carry an id proof along with the admit card for verification purpose

  • Without proper Admit card, you can't give the exam.

  • If you are not getting the confirmation page even after depositing the necessary fees, the candidate should get in contact with the Assistant Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 20.07.2016 to 25.07.2016 along with proof of payment of fee i.e. copy of E-Challan(candidate copy), if payment made through E-Challan or copy of bank statement, if payment made through Credit/Debit Card.

CTET 2016: Eligibility criteria and Syllabus

CTET provisions for differently abled candidates: A step towards better humanity!

The basic duty of humanity is to accept and respect differences. This will make the world a better place to live in! It is the duty of every human to protect, encourage and help the differently abled section in every possible way. CTET has raised its first step towards this extremely sensible cause. In this article, we hve tried to highlight some of the special provisions provided by CTET for the differently abled candidates.

  • An extra time of 50 minutes will be provided to all the specially abled candidates for each paper.

  • Scribe/ Amanuensis will be provided to a candidate with a disability of more than 40 percent.

  • The scribe/ amanuensis can be chosen by the candidate himself/ herself and the centre superitendent will provide this facility on request of the candidate also. You can make this option available one day before the CTET examination between 10 am to 1 pm.

  • There will be no criteria for educational qualification or age for scribe/ amanuensis

  • The CTET Examination centre will be arranging special seating arrangements for the specially abled candidates on the ground floor.

  • In case of any emergency, any change essential for the scribe/reader/lab assistant will be feasible.

  • The specially abled candidate can also avail more than one scribe/reader for attempting various papers.

  • CTET will provide different test booklets for the visually impaired candidates.

  • The specially abled candidates need to pay just an amount of Rs. 300 per paper. The candidate can attend for both the papers of CTET. Only Rs. 500 will be the examination fee and they will be offered with a consideration on their marks.
