SSC JHT Exam pattern 2020

Candidates are suggested to fill the SSC JHT Application form without any error to appear for the exam. The SSC JHT 2020 Exam is designed to test the candidates' expertise over language and literature, their wise use of words, phrases, idioms, and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The SSC JHT Exam is conducted in two stages:

  • Paper-1 ( Computer-based Test)
  • Paper-2 (Descriptive test)

SSC JHT Paper-II Exam is a descriptive type paper that contains Translation & Essay section. The exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks.

It is stated that the SSC Junior Hindi Translator Selection Process is based on the following process:

  • Paper-1
  • Paper-2

SSC JHT Paper-1 Selection Process

The SSC JHT Paper-1 is a computer-based test and the exam is conducted in online mode. 

  • The Paper-1 exam consists of two sections: General Hindi and General English.
  • The exam is conducted for two hours 
  • The total exam is conducted for 200 marks where each section carries 100 marks.
  • Candidates will be selected for the Paper-2 exam based on the marks scored in the computer-based test i.e., Paper-1 exam.

  • It contains two passages in which candidates need to translate one passage from Hindi to English and the other from English to Hindi.
  • The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and it is 2 hours 40 minutes for VH/OH candidates.
  • Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in order to select for the final selection process.

SSC JHT Document Verification Process

Candidates will be shortlisted for the final SSC JHT Document Verification Process based on the marks scored in both Paper-1 and Paper-2 exam.
