The SSC conducts SSC JE examination to recruit students for several junior engineer posts such as Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, contract Posts, and Quantity Surveying, etc. The students who clear SSC JE paper 1 are shortlisted for SSC JE paper 2. To get selected, one needs to focus on the SSC JE Paper 2 Important Topics.
The SSC JE exam will be conducted in offline mode. It is a descriptive paper where all subjects should be answered in a descriptive way. However, there is no negative marking. The paper is conducted in three steps - part A (Civil & Structural), part B (Electrical) and part C (Mechanical). The candidates will have a duration of 2 hours to attempt 300 marks.
