Applications for SBI PO Recruitment 2020 can be submitted only through online mode. Applicants can apply online for SBI PO 2020 from the official website by following the below steps carefully.
- Visit the official website of SBI www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com
- Click on the "SBI Careers with us option" or on the "Opportunities option".
- A page opens with the latest SBI Recruitment notification in PDF format.
- Now Click on the apply online link. After that, a new web page opens with the SBI PO Application form 2020.
- Fill the SBI PO Online form with all the basic details of the applicant and also upload a scanned photograph and signature.
- After filling up of online application form for SBI PO 2020 exam, check once again all the details in the application form. If the details are correct, submit it, otherwise, edit the mistakes in the SBI PO application form 2020.

SBI PO Syllabus 2020
Candidates should start their preparation for the exam after knowing the whole SBI PO Syllabus. In the first stage of the SBI PO Recruitment process, the preliminary exam is conducted, the Second stage is the Mains exam and the third stage is Group Exercises and Interview.

SBI PO 2020 Syllabus for Mains
After attending the preliminary exam, candidates should start their preparation for the mains exam immediately. SBI PO Syllabus for mains exams contains English language, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness.
- The total duration of the mains exam is 3 hours.
- In objective type questions, negative marking is there. Be careful while attempting the questions to avoid the penalty for the wrong answer.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted from the actual marks for the wrongly marked question.

SBI PO 2020 Selection Process :
SBI is a popular bank and everyone has a dream to start their career as an SBI PO. SBI authorities will conduct the SBI PO Selection Process in three stages- the preliminary exam, mains exam, and Group Exercise one by one.
Phase-I Preliminary Examination
As per the SBI PO Exam Dates, the preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted tentatively in the month of July 2020.
- There are 100 questions in the SBI PO prelims exam.
- It is an online exam conducted at various centres across India.
- SBI PO 2020 prelims exam comprises of questions from the following sections- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability.
- Preliminary exams contain three tests. Each test is conducted for 20 minutes. The total duration of the SBI PO prelims exam is conducted in a duration of 1 hour.
Phase-II Mains Exam
The Candidates who are successfully cracked the prelims exam will be allowed to write SBI PO 2020 Mains Exam. Applicants should receive good guidance and if required enroll in SBI PO Online Coaching especially for the Mains portion.
- SBI PO Mains Exam will be conducted in both objective type and Descriptive Type formats.
- Both objective and Descriptive tests are conducted online.
- After completion of the Objective Test, the Immediate descriptive test shall be conducted online.
- SBI PO 2020 Mains objective exam shall be conducted for 200 marks in the duration of 3 hours and the Descriptive exam will be conducted for 50 marks in the time frame of 30 minutes.
Phase-III Group Exercises & Interview
Candidates should participate in group exercises an interview after successfully qualified in prelims and mains exam. The Group Exercises is conducted for 20 marks and interview for 30 marks.
SBI PO Admit Card 2020
Candidates appearing for the SBI PO Exam 2020 have to carry the admit card to the examination center along with all the necessary documents. SBI PO Admit card/Hall Ticket is a mandatory one, without it, no one is allowed into the examination hall. The candidates should log in to the official website to download the admit card.
Steps to Download SBI PO 2020 Admit Card
- Students or applicants need to visit the SBI Careers website www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com
- Click on the admit card link, a new web page is opened in the browser.
- Enter details of the applicant such as registration number and date of birth.
- Now click on the submit or login button for accessing the SBI PO 2020 admit card.

Important Points for Selection Procedure 2020
For the selection of candidates for Probationary Officer post, SBI follows certain rules as explained below:
- Biometric Verification: To make sure there is an error-free and secured selection process for SBI PO 2020, SBI will digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate. This is done to verify the candidates. Any mistake or error in the biometric verification will lead to rejection of candidature. Also, all the candidates are advised to apply any ink, Mehendi or any chemical on their hands.
- Number of Attempts: For each category, the number of attempts is fixed. Candidates who have exceeded their chances of applying, cannot apply anymore. Candidates appearing for prelims exam is not count, while appearing for Marine exam is counted.

Candidates are restricted to apply for a certain number of chances. These changes could be counted from the date 18-04-2010. Appearing for the SBI PO Prelims 2020 exam is not counted as a chance. In past years only one competitive exam has been conducted i.e., the preliminary exam was not conducted, so this one will be taken and counted as a chance. SBI PO Notification 2020: Joining, Training, and Career path
- Selected applicants have to do an online course and this should be completed before joining.
- Selected candidates should submit an Rs.2 lakh bond to serve or to work in the bank minimum of 3 years from the date of joining.
- On Joining, Bank will designate the candidates as "Probationary officers". A period of 2 years will be given for PO as Probationary officers.
- Some assessments will be given for the selected candidates in the probation period. Candidates should qualify in all assessments conducted by the bank.
- Those who qualify in all the assessments will be permanently appointed as Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I).
