Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) or Common University Entrance Test (CUET) notice has been published by the UGC (University Grants Commission).
A total of 45 universities participate in this entrance test to provide admission to various undergraduate courses in central universities, UGG Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said.
The exam pattern for NTA CUET 2023 was recently presented, and it is known to have four sections. Many central universities have also confirmed their participation in the CUET (PG), and the details related to the same will be published soon on the NTA website.

As per the latest notice released by the NTA, the CUET Application Form 2023 for undergraduate courses for 45 central universities will open from 02 April 2023.
You can fill out the registration form online mode from the official website of NTA. The application fees for the General/OBC category are Rs. 800, while it is Rs. 350 for the reserved category.

The National Testing Agency has concluded that the Common University Entrance Test 2023 will include four sections:
The CUET exam is computerized and is conducted in 13 different languages, namely, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarathi, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Odia, and English.
According to the CUET Exam Pattern, Section 1 is divided into two sections:
You can opt for section 1B if you want to go for other languages like French, German, and Japanese apart from the ones mentioned in section 1A.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. You will have to appear for Section IA (language paper), two chosen domain subjects, and the general aptitude test in the first shift.
In the second shift, you will appear for the other four domain subjects and an additional language test (Section 1B) if opted for.

Here is good news for all of you! The admission to undergraduate courses at 45 central universities is solely based on your CUET scores.
Class 12 board marks will not carry any weightage in the CUET admission process. However, UGC said that the participating universities might use a certain percentage of class 12 marks as an eligibility criterion to apply for the test.
Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia and Indira Gandhi National Open University in the national capital, and Aligarh Muslim University and Banaras Hindu University in UP, are among the well-known Central universities are among the universities covered by CUET.
Following the Common University Entrance Test, each university will admit students based on a merit list prepared by NTA, and there will be no common counselling.
These universities will fill the quota of reserved seats through CUET from this year. However, the reservation policies and ordinances of the universities will remain the same.
International students are exempted from taking the NTA CUET exam, and the admissions are provided based on the existing supernumerary basis.
