The Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is directed by the government of Maharashtra on behalf of the Directorate of Technical Education. This exam is directed to fill 85% of the seats in private unaided engineering institutes in Maharashtra. This is a state-level entrance examination, directed to give chance to take admission in B.E/B.TECH, B.PHARMACY, and Agriculture courses in more than 300 colleges in Maharashtra.

The Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Exam (MHT CET) LAW is directed by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra. This is a state-level entrance examination, directed to give chance to the students to get admission in 3 years or 5 years of law degree courses. 5 years law degree course can intake 5000 seats whereas a 3-year law degree course intake 15000 seats.
