To get admission in the 3-year law program offered by 61 participating colleges, the candidates must clear the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test law. So to apply for this Common Entrance Test, you must meet the basic eligibility criteria set up by the Directorate of Higher Education Mumbai and Maharashtra Government.

The basic eligibility requirement that the candidates have to fulfil are as follows:

  • The candidates should hold a graduate degree with 45% marks in any discipline from a recognized university or college.
  • Candidates belonging to India only can apply for this Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law.

MH CET Law 3 Years Counseling & Seat Allotment Process

The counselling and the seat allotment process will be conducted online by the Directorate of Higher Education Mumbai and Maharashtra state CET Cell.

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will conduct the institute-level counselling for 3 years LL.B. and 5 years LL.B. The institute-level merit list will be released, and candidates can register online before the deadline.

  • Issue of merit numbers: Candidates shortlisted for counselling will be issued merit numbers.
  • Choice filling: Candidates who have been issued merit numbers will be invited for choice filling and locking. As part of the choice-filling process, candidates must pick their choice of institutions before CAP Round I and CAP Round II start. All entries should be in the order of priority.
  • Options entered before CAP Round I will be the basis for seat allotment in CAP Rounds 1 and 2.
  • Note that the choice-filling option will be activated again before CAP Round III, which will be the basis for seat allotment in the round.
  • MH CET Law seat allotment 2024: The allotment of seats will be made after each CAP Round, considering the candidate's merit rank and choices entered.
  • Document verification: Upon allotment of seats, the candidate has to accept the seat and pay the acceptance fee through candidate log-in.
  • Report at allotted college: Finally, the candidate has to report at the institute allotted to them on the designated day to complete the remaining admission formalities.

To get admission in the 3-year law program offered by 61 participating colleges, the candidates must clear the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test law. So to apply for this Common Entrance Test, you must meet the basic eligibility criteria set up by the Directorate of Higher Education Mumbai and Maharashtra Government.

The basic eligibility requirement that the candidates have to fulfil are as follows:

  • The candidates should hold a graduate degree with 45% marks in any discipline from a recognized university or college.
  • Candidates belonging to India only can apply for this Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law.
  • There is no upper age limit for the candidates to apply for this entrance test. Candidates of any age can apply for this entrance test if he or she holds a graduate degree.

MH CET Law 3 Years Counseling & Seat Allotment Process

The counselling and the seat allotment process will be conducted online by the Directorate of Higher Education Mumbai and Maharashtra state CET Cell.

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will conduct the institute-level counselling for 3 years LL.B. and 5 years LL.B. The institute-level merit list will be released, and candidates can register online before the deadline.

  • Issue of merit numbers: Candidates shortlisted for counselling will be issued merit numbers.
  • Choice filling: Candidates who have been issued merit numbers will be invited for choice filling and locking. As part of the choice-filling process, candidates must pick their choice of institutions before CAP Round I and CAP Round II start. All entries should be in the order of priority.
  • Options entered before CAP Round I will be the basis for seat allotment in CAP Rounds 1 and 2.
  • Note that the choice-filling option will be activated again before CAP Round III, which will be the basis for seat allotment in the round.
  • MH CET Law seat allotment 2024: The allotment of seats will be made after each CAP Round, considering the candidate's merit rank and choices entered.
  • Document verification: Upon allotment of seats, the candidate has to accept the seat and pay the acceptance fee through candidate log-in.
  • Report at allotted college: Finally, the candidate has to report at the institute allotted to them on the designated day to complete the remaining admission formalities.
