LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL), one of India's largest government-owned housing finance companies, has issued a notification announcing 300 vacancies in various branches of the company across India for assistant, associate, and assistant manager positions. 

• Eligible candidates may apply for the Assistant Manager Legal examination until 16 December 2019.
• There are a total of 35 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager(Legal).
• The selection process comprises of Online Examination and Interview.
• Registration for the exam is done via the online mode on the official website, i.e. https://www.lichousing.com
• The online examination will be in English language only.
• LIC HFL 2019 examination for Assistant, Associate, and Assistant Manager posts was carried out on 10 October 2019.
• Candidates are allowed to apply for vacancy from only one state.
• The starting salary in LIC HFL is Rs 23,870 to Rs 56,000 depending on the post and the city of the selected candidate.

Note: The office will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility, etc. as per rules in force from time to time.

LIC HFL Salary Incentives & Allowances 

In addition to the Basic Pay, the PSPCL Salary also includes various allowances:

1. HRA- HRA stands of House Rent Allowance. This is a reimbursement which is provided to the employee as a stay ease
2. Dearness Allowance(DA) is the cost of living adjustment allowance which the government pays to the employees of the public sector as well as pensioners of the same.
3.  Least Accommodation -Least Accommodation is up to Rs 29500,  this is provided in lieu of HRA
4. Other additional benefits-Lunch Allowance, Mediclaim, LTC, Housing Loan, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Group Insurance Scheme, & Incentives Based on Performance and Other Benefits

LIC HFL Probation & Job Profile

The Probation & Job Profile details for the different posts are mentioned below:

Assistant: Probation-Six months from the date of accession, extendable for a maximum period of six months. The trainees are assigned to their respective positions after the successful completion of their probation period.

LIC HFL Assistant Job Profile

• Work of complaints from the client. 
• Insurance report preparation and updating and checking that all records are correct.
• Managing distribution records and other rules, lawsuits, agreements, reports, etc. related papers.
• Online/offline transfers, execute certain tasks that may be delegated from time to time

• An Associate's job responsibilities are a step higher than an Assistant's. There will also be a distribution dimension as the work is in the insurance sector. They would need to cross-sell insurance products and direct consumers for better investment strategies.

Assistant Manager and Assistant Manager Legal: Probation-

• Before being hired as Assistant Manager, there will be a 1-year training period as Management Trainee from the date of entry, which can be prolonged for a duration of 1 year.
• During this training period, a consolidated salary of Rs.25.000/-per month will be paid.
• The appointment to the post of Assistant Manager will be subject to the successful and satisfactory completion of the training period.

After the successful completion of the probation period, the Trainees are appointed to their respective positions.

LIC HFL Assistant Manager Job Profile

• Reviewing applications for the home loan.
• Consumer creditworthiness screening and assessment 
• Request loans for approval
• Getting the loan sanctioned and process it on the system.
