KPSC FDA Exam Pattern 2020: KPSC has released a notification for the recruitment of First Division Assistant (FDA) vacancies recently. This is the perfect time to start the preparation in an effective way. Candidates should understand the KPSC FDA Exam Pattern before going to start the preparation. KPSC has announced official dates to conduct the exam.

KPSC FDA Exam Pattern 2020

The selection is purely based on merit. Candidates who are going to attend for KPSC First Division Assistant Exam have to go through KPSC FDA Syllabus for detailed information on KPSC FDA 2020 exam.

  • KPSC FDA Exam Pattern gives detailed structure and pattern of the exam.
  • The candidates should attend for three papers that is going to be conducted on different dates.
  • The Paper-I exam will be conducted on 09th May 2020 and Paper II & III on 10th May 2020.
  • After the exam, qualified candidates have to attend for the interview that will be conducted on the mentioned date.
  • Candidates appearing for the exam have to download the KPSC FDA admit card before 10 days of exam on the official website of KPSC.
  • There will be negative marking in the objective type question paper.
  • For every wrong attempted question, the 1/4th mark will be deducted from the actual marks.
  • Practicing the KPSC FDA Mock test gives the confidence to the candidates to crack the exam.

KPSC FDA Exam Pattern (Paper-I)

The following table gives an idea about the KPSC FDA Question Paper pattern and also it gives the structure of the examination.

  • Kannada Language Test will be conducted in descriptive mode.
  • Paper I consist of 6 sections of different test. Each test will be conducted for 25 marks.
  • The Kannada Language Paper will be conducted for 150 marks in a duration of 90 minutes.
  • The total duration of 90 minutes is given to complete for the Paper I exam.

KPSC FDA Exam Pattern (Paper-II & Paper III)

KPSC FDA Exam Pattern given in a tabular form below. It gives detailed information for the preparation of the exam.

  • KPSC declared the exam date to conduct Paper II & III exam on 10th May 2020.
  • Candidates who are appearing for Paper-II & Paper III Exam should know the KPSC FDA Exam Pattern that is given in the tabular form below.
  • The exam will be of objective mode for Paper II & III
  • Paper-II comprises of Questions from the subjects General English or General Kannada and Paper III consists of questions from the General Knowledge topics
  • The maximum marks given to conduct for each paper are 100 and the duration is to complete the exam is 100 minutes.
  • Paper-II comprises questions of the PUC level standard. It is intended to conduct the exam to test the knowledge in English grammar or Kannada grammar spelling, vocabulary, antonyms, and synonyms. This exam is conducted to differentiate correct and incorrect usage of words.
  • Candidates are given an option to choose either general English or general Kannada.
  • Paper III comprises of General knowledge multiple-choice questions of PUC standard level and will be covering the topics relating to culture and Indian history, current events, General and Economic geography of India e.t.c

KPSC Assistant Marking Scheme

  • Before attempting the questions, read the questions carefully for answering it.
  • Every wrong answer carries 1/4th negative mark. The negative marks will be deducted from the actual marks secured by the candidates.
  • If the Questions left unattempted, no marks will be deducted.
  • So, candidates while marking the OMR be careful for not doing mistakes.

KPSC FDA Qualifying Marks

KPSC will set the minimum qualifying marks to pass the First Division Assistant Examination. Cut off marks will be declared on the same day of result or after some days of the result. Candidates who wants to know the KPSC FDA Cut off marks have to visit the official website of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) i.e www.kpsc.kar.nic.in.
