Eligibility Criteria for KLEE 2025
KLEE 5 Year LLB
Eligibility criteria for applying to the KLEE law entrance:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, 10+2, from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (42% for SEBC, 40% for SC/ST).
Equivalent qualifications such as a Senior Secondary Certificate or a 3-year Diploma after the 10th standard are also accepted.
Open university graduates without foundational qualifications are not eligible.
Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit for admission into the KLEE entrance exam.
Results Awaiting:
It is open to candidates expecting qualifying exam results. However, admission is only given when certificates are submitted during counselling.
KLEE 3 Year LLB
Graduation: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the University of Kerala.
Minimum Marks:
General Category: At least 45% aggregate marks.
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC): At least 42% aggregate marks.
Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST): At least 40% aggregate marks.
Distance Education: Candidates who obtained their degree through distance or correspondence education are eligible, provided they had the basic qualifications required for such studies.
Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for their final year examinations are also eligible to apply, but they must produce the necessary certificates at the time of admission.
