IPM Jammu Admission and Eligibility Criteria

The IIM Jammu has introduced the IPM Admission Policy 2023. IIM Jammu welcomes IPM Admission through the JIPMAT score. The National Testing Agency (NTA) every year conducts the JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) entrance examination for admission in the Integrated program offered by the IIM Jammu.

This program is a 5-year integrated program offered by the IIM Jammu. It is a dual degree program, i.e., after completing this 5-year integrated program, the candidate will get both the degree of BBA + MBA together. 

  • Admission to the IPM program depends on your score obtained in the JIPMAT and marks obtained by you in your class 10th and 12th. A minimum of 50 percentile is needed to get admission in the IPM program offered by the IIM Jammu. Not only this, you should have scored at least 60% marks in your 10 + 2 standards.
  • There is a benefit for the female candidates that they will be awarded 10 extra marks while preparing the final merit list. 
  • In the IPM Program offered by the IIM Jammu, the first 3 years of students will be taught semester-wise, and the exams will also be conducted semester-wise. And the next 2 years, students will be taught on the basis of the trimester system (as per the prevailing MBA course structure).
  • There will be around 60 students in one batch of the IPM program offered by the IIM Jammu.

The IPM at IIM Jammu incorporates management education with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

The final merit list and admission selection of the IPM course at the IIM Jammu is made on the basis of the JIPMAT score, academic profile, and gender diversity. Check JIPMAT Application Form. (Link)

The fees for the IPM program at IIM Jammu are Rs. 14.55 lakh for the first 3 years and the fee for the remaining 2 years will depend on the MBA fee at that particular year.

In the year 2022, the placements have been excellent because the highest salary package offered was Rs. 32 LPA. The candidate has received an average salary package of Rs. 13.53 LPA.

IIM Jammu Admission Criteria: IPM Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have passed their class 12th/Higher Senior Secondary Certificate or any equivalent examination are eligible to apply for the IPM program at IIM Jammu

  • The candidates who have completed their class 10th / Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent examination in the year 2017 or later are eligible to apply for the IPM Program at the IIM Jammu.
  • The candidates should have to score a minimum of 60% marks in their class 10th / SSC and class 12th / HSC or equivalent examinations to be eligible for the IPM Program at the IIM Jammu.
  • The reserved category applicants have to score a minimum of 55% marks in their class 10th and 12th to be eligible for the IPM program. 
  • The candidates who are expected to complete their class 12th / HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31st can also apply for this IPM program.
  • The Candidates who are pursuing their 12th class from international schools affiliated with foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply for this Integrated program in management offered by the IIM Jammu.

IIM Jammu IPM Admission 2023

The admission process of IIM Jammu admisison for the IPM Program consists of:

  • The candidates have been Shortlisted on the basis of their scores obtained in the JIPMAT Entrance Exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) annually conducts the exam (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) to provide admission to the IPM program offered by the IIM Jammu program.
  • The candidate’s JIPMAT score is not enough for admission to the IPM program. The candidate’s class 10th and 12th aggregate marks are also included in the admission process of the IIM Jammu.
  • The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the JIPMAT Score, academic profile, and gender diversity.

The standard of preparing the final merit list is on the basis of a composite score comprising the weightage of the JIPMAT score, academic profile of class 10th and 12th, and gender diversity as follows:

IIM Jammu IPM Application Process 2023

JIPMAT 2023 Application Form will be available at the official website soon. Students are motivated to collect their documents before starting with the registration process. The steps to be followed to fill the form are as follows:

Registration

  • Visit the official website of the IIM Jammu, i.e., iimj.ac.in
  • Click on the ‘JIPMAT 2023 new registration’ tab.
  • After clicking on the ‘new registration’ tab, go to the application page again.
  • Click on the check box and press the ‘I agree' on button.
  • Final step for the registration is to read all the details about the course and then Click on the ‘Apply’ button.

Fill the Personal Details in the Application Form

  • Sign in again using your registration ID and Password, which you have received in the first step of registration.
  • Students require filling their Personal, Educational, and Parental details to proceed further in the application process.
  • Ensure that you save every module while filling in the details.
  • You can make changes before the final submission of the application form.
  • If, in any case, there is any correction in the application form after the final submission. It should be reported to the authorities as soon as possible.

  • The following documents to be uploaded at the time of the registration are as follows: -
  • Scanned passport size photo in the format prescribed by the IIM Jammu.
  • Scanned photo of signature in the format prescribed by the IIM Jammu.

  • Qualifying exam certificate

Payment of Application Fee

  • Students can only pay the application fee in online mode.
  • They can pay through online mode like through net banking, debit cards, UPI, etc.
  • After paying the fee, the student should keep the pay-in slip with them for future references.
