She is pursuing the Blended Postgraduate Programme (BPGP) at IIMA, an online MBA programme for working professionals. Although she received recognition for getting into India’s top B school, the internet is much more curious about Navya Nanda’s CAT exam score. Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) is an online 2- Years MBA course designed for working professionals to balance their careers and academic learning. A candidate with 3 years of full-time work experience after completing graduation plus holding a valid CAT/IAT/GRE/GMAT scorecard is eligible for this course.
Promila Agarwal, an associate professor at IIM Ahmedabad, addressed the discussion about Navya's admission by stating, "She has a strong CV. Getting into IIM-A doesn't always require CAT. Being the granddaughter of the legend Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Navaya prioritises her education and has a strong academic background. She graduated from Fordham University in the USA with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Technology and UX Design.
In addition to her studies, she is a social entrepreneur and leads a non-profit organisation called Project Naveli, which promotes gender equality. Additionally, she manages a part of her family's business.
Is the CAT score compulsory for the BPGP course? According to the official IIM Ahmedabad link, you should be a working professional and businessman with at least 3 years of full-time work experience.
Also, the minimum age criteria is 24 years old (with no upper age limit) and having a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
