IBPS Clerk Exam Day Instructions

The exam conducting authorities prepared a set of instructions that are mandatory and must be followed in the exam hall to avoid the cancellation of the candidature. Go through the IBPS Clerk Exam Day Instructions to be followed inside the examination hall or before going to the examination hall:

  • All the candidates are required to report at the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card.
  • Candidates should report to the exam hall at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the IBPS Clerk Call Letter.
  • Note that mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and the Lab Number’ will not be displayed outside the exam venue. However, the same will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of the entry and post their Admit Card verification.
  • Make sure to carry a mask, hand sanitizer, transparent water bottle, a simple pen, admit card, and any photocopy of ID card to the exam hall.
  • Candidates are advised not to share any of their personal belonging/material with anyone inside the exam hall.
  • The candidates should maintain a safe social distance from one another.
  • Ensure to stand in the row as per the instructions provided at the venue.
  • If a candidate is availing the scribe, then the scribe also should bring their own Gloves, N95 Mask, sanitizer (50ml), and water bottle.
  • Make sure you must have installed Aarogya Setu App on your mobile phone and you should display the status to the Security Guard at the entry into the exam venue.
  • Candidates will have to bring in a signed medical declaration form and show the same to the Security Guard at the entry to the exam venue if they do not have a smartphone.
  • Students must switch off their mobile phones, and deposit it at the designated location after showing the Aarogya Setu status.
  • All candidates will be checked with Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature. In case, any person is observed to be having above-normal temperature (> 99.14° F) or displaying any symptoms of the virus, they will not be allowed to write the exam.
  • Candidate registration will be done through photo capture at the entry gate.
  • Rough sheet(s) kept at each candidate desk will be used by the candidate and they must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving.
  • The candidates should move out in an orderly manner without crowding as instructed by the venue staff after the completion of the exam.
