IAS Exam Dates 2020

• The release of the notification of IAS EXAM 2020 is on 12^th February 2020.
• The commencement of the IAS exam application date 2020 is on 12^th February 2020.
• The last date to submit the IAS exam application 2020 is 3^rd March 2020.
• The IAS exam comprises of 3 stages –
  • 1. Preliminary examination
  • Mains examination
  • Personal Interview test
• The IAS preliminary examination is qualifying in nature. It consists of 2 papers of 200 marks each, Paper 1 - General Ability Test (GAT) and paper 2 - Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT). Paper 1 contains 80 objective type questions and Paper 2 contains 100 objective type questions. Candidates will get 2 hours of the time of each paper and 0.33% of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The IAS mains examination comprises of 9 papers, the candidate will get 3 hours for each paper. It includes both objective and subjective type questions, and only for objective type question if there is any wrong answer then 0.33% marks will be deducted as penalty.
• The IAS preliminary exam will be held on 31^st May 2020.
• The IAS mains exam will be held on 18^th September 2020.

• There will be no offline registration for IAS EXAM 2020.
• Candidates can only apply online for IAS EXAM 2020
• The application date of IAS EXAM 2020 was 12^th February 2020.

• The General/EWS/OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- for the preliminary examination application form, and Rs. 200/- for the mains examination application form.

 IAS Admit Card Dates 2020

• The Admit cards for the Preliminary exam of IAS 2020 will be released online in April 2020.
• The IAS Exam Admit cards 2020 for the mains examinations are expected to be released in September 2020.

• The applicant needs to carry the admit card alongside the Aadhar Card and a Passport size photo on the test day.
