How to Get Admission to IIM After the 12th?

The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) was introduced by the IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Indore in 2011 after seeing the cut-off of the SRCC college that was too high.

Earlier, IIM (Indian Institute of Management) only conducts an MBA program. Still, after seeing too much competition for admission in the Delhi universities colleges, they decide to introduce a new program to capture the students after their 12th grade only.

So, they decided to conduct an Aptitude test for admission in their 5-year integrated program in management (IPM) launched in 2011.

Admission to the integrated program in management (IPM) depends on the performance in the entrance examination conducted by the IIM Indore. The name of the entrance examination is the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT).

  • The program offered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) is the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), and to get admission in that program, you have to give an entrance examination named Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) after completing your class 12th.
  • For this entrance examination, your 10th and 12th class marks will not affect you directly but indirectly; it will affect you. For admission, after clearing the entrance examination, students must clear a personal interview round conducted by the IIM Indore only. IPMAT Average Placements

Students will get a very good package from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). The average salary package after completing the integrated program in management is Rs. 22 lakh per annum. It means that if you perform best in all 5 years, you will definitely get more than this salary package. 

The fees of the IPM program are around 25 lakh for all 5 years, which is worth it because after completing your 5 years integrated program in management, you will get this much starting package in your first job itself.
