Guidelines to Fill NID Application Form

As per the official notification, you are solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process. If it is found that any information provided by you in the application form is not true, NID has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, in accordance with its rules and regulations.

NID Application Process is a four-step process: online registration, filling the application form, uploading documents, and paying the application fee.

Make sure to go through the step-by-step instructions given below carefully before proceeding with the application form.

Step 01: Registration (SignUp/Login)

To fill the NID entrance exam application form, you need first to create a login ID. To create this, you need to

  • Visit the official website of NID, i.e., http://admissions.nid.edu
  • On the Home page, click on the "Admissions" tab

  • While registering, provide a valid email address and an active mobile number since authorities will use these contacts for all future communication.
  • After registration, you will receive login credentials to your registered mobile and E-mail. 
  • If the wrong email address and/or mobile number has been provided during signup, you must register again with the correct details.

Step 2: Fill Details in the Application form

  • Log in to your account using login credentials to proceed with the filling of the application.
  • Select the course you are willing to opt for.
  • Fill in all your personal, educational, and communication details. (Note that the details entered during registration will be auto-filled)
  • Fill in the work experience if you are applying for the M.Des course.
  • Verify the details, click on Save and Proceed button after verification.
  • In case you wish to proceed later, then click on the "Save and Exit" button.

Step 3: Upload Documents

  • After clicking on Save and Proceed, you will be redirected to a window to upload a few documents.
  • Upload a photo in the specified format.
  • Upload a signature in the specified format.
  • You should have your signature digitally photographed or scanned and cropped to the required size. 
  • If you belong to the reserved category, upload your caste certificate image in the mentioned space by clicking on the "Upload" button.

Step 04: Pay the Application Fee

  • Click on Save and Next button to proceed to the payment window.
  • Choose the desired option between Online and Offline.
  • For online, pay using Credit Card/Debit card.
  • For offline mode, pay using Demand Draft.
