What is CMAT?

AICTE which is also well-known as All India Council for Technical Education conducts the CMAT Exam every year. This entrance exam is to select the eligible students for facilitating colleges/universities in management programmes. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a nationwide entrance test in India.

A new rule has been published from this academic year by AICTE. Every year CMAT will be conducted only once, in the month of January. This entrance test is a computer based examination. All you have to do in the CMAT Examination hall is toread the questions and click the correct answers given below. The candidates should report at the examination hall and computers will be assigned to each of candidate.

CMAT Exam

CMAT Exam will have four sections –

• General Awareness
• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
• Logical Reasoning and Language Comprehension.

Each of these sections will include 25 questions. You do not have to worry about giving the test on a computer. If you feel that you have answered a question incorrectly, you can always go back and select the right answer. The CMAT Examination duration is 180 minutes and you can score 4 marks for every correct answer.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT

Any candidates who have completed their graduation or appearing for the final exam can appear for CMAT Examination.There is no age constraint to appear for the CMAT Entrance Examination. You can try CMAT as many times you want till you get a good score to get the admission in any AICTE institutions. You will have an examination fee for your application for CMAT. The application process is very simple. You can do it by checking all the instructions given on the official website of CMAT.
