UPSC or Union Public Service Commission had conducted the IAS preliminary exam on June 18 2017 in offline mode and now the UPSC Mains examination scheduled on 28th October 2017 is over. The UPSC mains will be for paper I which will be an essay based test. UPSC Mains Exam Analysis 2017- UPSC Mains Exam Schedule 2017

As per the UPSC Mains exam schedule 2017 released on upsc.gov.in. , the paper I is the essay paper which is scheduled for the first half of Saturday, 28 October from 9am to noon. For 29th October 2017, there are no papers.

The four general studies papers are scheduled on 30 and 31 October in four different shifts—the morning session will be from 9am to noon, while the afternoon session will last 2 to 5pm.

The language papers will be conducted on 1st November with Indian languages paper scheduled for the morning session, while the English paper is scheduled for the afternoon session.
