TISS BAT Eligibility Criteria 2018-19
TISS BAT Eligibility Criteria 2018-19 can be checked down the post. It is a national-level test. As the name indicates, it is conducted by one of the most reputed institutes of India, Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Through TISS BAT candidates can get admission to BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Social Science program. Candidates can get admission to any of the TISS campuses. In Tuljapur campus candidates can get admission to Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with specialization in rural development. TISS has launched the Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the academic year 2012. Candidates are invited to apply for the 2018-2021 academic year. The process of application was started on 24th October 2017 and the last day to submit the application form is 19th March 2017. TISS BAT Eligibility Criteria 2018-19:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed 12th Class or Intermediate in any subject stream from a Recognised Board.
- Aspirants who have studied International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing 12th class with clear results declared by June 2018 are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have appeared for their 12th class or Intermediate final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
- Final result will be produced at the time of joining the programme, if selected.
Age Limit:
- Applicant should be 23 years or less in age at the time of appearing for the Bachelors Admission Test, as on May 05, 2018.
- Application from candidate over this age will not be entertained.
Total Intake:
The total intake is 180 seats in BA Programme in Social Sciences and 40 seats in B.A. (Hons) in Social Work. The details of seats by campus and programme are presented below:

Selection Procedure:
Application Form 2019:
Read all the instructions for filling the application. Here we have provided some important details to apply for TISS BAT;
- TISS BAT application form 2019 will be provided mostly via online mode.
- Students from remote places can request for the printed copy of the application by speed post with required fee to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar Mumbai, 400088.
- Students can apply for maximum three programmes across any two campuses of TISS.
- Candidates also have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, Challan & other certificates (as applicable).
- Candidates applying through online mode are required to send the printed application.
