Tata Institute of Social Sciences Bachelor Admission Test, TISS BAT Application form has been released. All the students who wish to take part in the undergraduate courses of Tata Institute of Social Sciences can apply for this entrance test. The TISS Application form release date was 24th October 2017, but no worries as interested and eligible candidates can still apply for the same as the last date for the application is 19^th March 2018. About TISS BAT

TISS BAT, short for Tata Institute of Social Sciences Bachelor Admission Test conducts Bachelor’s Admission Test (BAT) to provide admission to the interested candidates in different BA programmes. Courses in which admission is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in TISS BAT are as follows

All the candidates who have passed their Class XII in any stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply for Bachelor’s Admission Test exam by filling the TISS Application Form. TISS BAT question paper contains both objective and subjective questions of total 100 marks.

TISS application form 2018 last date is 19^th March 2018. The fee for the online application can be made by online or offline mode. All the other information like exam date, exam pattern, eligibility criteria, application process, and exam mode is provided below.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed Class XII in any stream from a recognized board. Students who are awaiting results of their Class XII exams are also eligible to apply.

Age limit

Candidates should be less than 23 years in age at the time of appearing for TISS BAT exam, as on April 30, 2018. Candidates over this age are not eligible to apply for the exam, according to the official website.

TISS BAT Exam Pattern

Before applying for TISS BAT 2018 Exam, one should be aware of the TISS BAT Exam Pattern. Below given is the paper pattern for TISS BAT Entrance exam 2018.

• The exam will be commenced in two parts.
• The question paper will be of objective and descriptive nature.
• The time duration to solve the question paper will be 90 minutes.

• The interview will be commenced of those candidates only who qualify the test.

TISS BAT Application Process

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the program only through an online process by visiting the admissions link on the TISS website (admissions.tiss.edu) on or before March 19, 2018. Applicants can check the procedure to register and apply for TISS BAT 2018 below.

Step by Step Procedure to Apply for TISS BAT 2018

Follow the instructions given below to apply for the TISSBAT:

Step 1: Registration

To apply for the TISS BAT 2018, candidates need to register first. Register by click on the link provided on this page and enter the authentic email id. A link to set a password and access the application will be sent to this Email ID. Set a password and proceed to fill in details in the online application.

Step 2: Filling in details in the TISS BAT Application form

Candidates will be provided an option to fill the form and complete the processes entirely at one go or fill partially and save the form for completion before the due date. In the online application form, applicants have to give their preference for one center only. This preference cannot be changed through a phone call or email or in person thereafter. In the online application form, candidates need to provide the details such as personal details, academic details, communication details etc.

Step 3: Upload Photograph

In the online application, candidates shall need to upload a scanned copy of the photograph and other documents in the online application as per the prescribed format.

Step 4: Make Payment

Candidates will be asked to choose between two modes of payment ‘Cash’ or ‘Payment Gateway’ in this last step. If the candidate chooses the preferred mode of payment ‘Cash’, a payment challan has to be downloaded from the ‘Download Challan’ tab. Deposit the cash amount mentioned on the challan in any branch of the State Bank of India. The bank will return two copies of the challan copy (Student Copy and TISS Copy) with the bank’s seal, signature and journal number on it. Candidates will then have to scan the ‘TISS Copy’ of the challan, login back to the online application system and upload it.
