IBPS RRB VI Exam- IBPS RRB is conducted by Institute of banking and Personnel Selection to recruit candidates in banks in Rural areas. The goal of IBPS RRB is to create financial inclusion and empower rural areas and small towns with banks. Banks are the backbone of the economy and so of rural areas which continue to be unbanked, but thanks to new efforts that are seeing a lot of banks springing up in small towns.

Going by the rules of the IBPS RRB’s candidate must have already studied the language of the State in standard VIII or any level above standard VIII in Government recognized Boards of Education/ School or having any certificate to the effect for standard VIII or any level above standard VIII would be considered proficient in that local language.

Language is a very important part of applying for IBPS RRB VI exam. Candidates who apply for IBPS RRB should be proficient with the local language. In case of candidates who are applying for jobs in another state, they must be willing to learn the local language of that state in 6 months time from the date of joining. This period can be extended by the Boards of RRBs within the framework of the rules and provided that such extension should not be beyond the probation period.

Unlike IBPS PO, IBPS clerk where postings are in urban areas, candidate can speak English along with local language. However, in case of IBPS RRB’s candidate must be fluent and proficient in local language as interactions with bank customers is in local language.
