SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2019

The SSC Steno recruitment will begin from September 15, 2019, tentatively.  The SSC Steno online application is also set to begin from the same day. The last date to apply for the post is 19th November 2018. The application for SSC Stenographer will be subject to various Eligibility Criteria as per SSC.

  • Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria and fill their applications will receive their SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2019.

SSC Steno Eligibility Criteria 2019

Here are the required SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria like Age Limit, Educational Qualification, and Nationality to be fulfilled by the candidate who is willing to apply for SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Recruitment.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognized Board or University.
  • The candidates who are able to prove by documentary evidence that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut off date and he/she has been declared passed, will also be considered to have the required Educational Qualification.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 27 years

Age Relaxation on Upper Age Limit for SSC Stenographer 2019

The age relaxation limit for different categories is different for each category. Below is the official relaxation provided for different categories.

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen, OR
  • A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, OR
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01-01-1962, for permanent settlement, OR
  • Of Indian origin, migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and Zaire, for permanent settlement.
  • Candidates belonging to other nations than India above must hold an eligibility certificate as issued by the Government of India.
