The SSC Selection Post Exam Pattern has been released in the official Notification. There are a certain changes made in the exam pattern this year. Also, the selection process varies slightly according to the qualification of the candidate. SSC Selection Post Exam Pattern 2018
The selection process of SSC Selection Post Exam consists of Computer-Based Test. No interview will be conducted for these posts, as directed by the Government of India. SSC fills those posts, which do not cover under CGL, CHSL, Stenographer & other scheduled exams. After getting selected, candidate will be deputed under Group-‘B’ & ‘C’ posts along with the respective pay scale. Highlights of Changes made in SSC Selection Post Exam 2018
- Number of questions changed to 25 and Marks changed to 50 for all sections.
- Negative Marking for every wrong answer changed to 0.50 marks from 0.25.
- Cut-off Marks released for individual categories.
- Ratio of candidates to be called for each post changed.
New SSC Selection Post Exam Pattern
The Staff Selection commission will carry out three separate papers for Matriculation, Higher secondary and Graduation level posts. There will 100 objective type questions in the examination. Furthermore, for every wrong attempt, you will get 0.50 marks in negative. The further details of subjects, marks and time duration is given below.

Minimum Marks to score in SSC Selection Post Exam 2018
The SSC Selection Post online notification states that the commission has released a minimum percentage of marks for different categories that candidates need to score to qualify the exam. You can find the details below:
- Unreserved – 35%
- OBC – 30%
- Other Categories – 25%

New Ratio of Candidates to be called for each post
This year, SSC has released a new ratio for calling the qualified candidates for each post. Get to know the details below:
- For categories having upto 5 vacancies shall be calling candidates in a ratio 1:20
- For categories having vacancy more than 5 shall be calling candidates in a ratio 1:10
