SSC MTS Exam Analysis 5th October 2017 – How was your Exam?

SSC MTS recruitment 2017 is conducted every year by the staff selection commission for recruiting candidates for the posts of multitasking staff in various ministries and departments of the central government. If you wish to have a government job with a minimum educational qualification of Class 10, SSC MTS is the perfect option for you. To have a job in SSC MTS, you need to have a minimum qualification of class 10th.

SSC MTS or Multi Tasking Staff is a Group C Cadre position which has been created post the recommendation of the 6th pay commission. Group D posts include posts like peon, ward boy, Ceaner, Sweeper, File Mover, Door Opener, Watchman, Pump Operator, Daftary, Farash, Chowkidar, Cleaner, Jamadar, Gardner, Junior Gestetner operator. The SSC MTS exam has been scheduled from 16th September to 30th October 2017 across various centres through out the country.

SSC MTS Exam pattern 2017

The recruitment of SSC MTS exam comprises of two phases-

  • Phase I Written exam
  • Phase II Descriptive exam

The written exam consist of total 150 marks for a duration of 2 hours.

In paper I, for every incorrect response there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks. You can attempt the paper I in English/ Hindi as per your choice. Those candidates who qualify in the Phase I written exam will be invited for Phase II or Descriptive paper.
