SSC junior Engineer Job Profile:

Most of the participating organizations and institutions have job areas in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering.

  1. Supervision of Work: During the beginning, the engineer has to supervise all functions and understand the functions and goals of the organisation and work in accordance
  2. Planning: The candidate has to make estimate for repairs and renovation and should be able to know the work of a contractor and handle workers/laborers.
  3. Accounts: A Junior Engineer is responsible for maintaining bills for all work carried out by the contractor. A Junior Engineer may also be responsible for contributing to the book keeping process incurred by the section he his working for.
  4. Scheme Execution: Junior Engineer must have a thorough understanding of the schemes of the government and must ensure smooth work flow of those schemes. The Junior Engineer is an integral part of these schemes and needs to execute all necessary tasks.
  5. Assisting Superiors: Junior Engineer must report to higher authorities on a daily basis. The junior engineer is the boss of his or her section and superiors will have to be briefed about all happenings in the department and the project that a Junior Engineer is part of.
